  1. It just made me laugh, I walked pasted the Lawton HQ the other day and saw the logo and thought "waaaaait a minute"
  2. They're pretty similar XD https://lawtontubes.co.uk/
  3. it's crazy to me that people can get away with this stuff.
  4. aahhhh, gotta love humans...... If only 95% of us weren't uneducated assholes eh?
  5. No way the next gen is coming in 2025. They'll have something else out in 2024 to try and milk people dry before then.... then they'll release another 20+ Super and Ti models, some with more/less memory/performance, so nobody knows what the fk they're actually buying at all, whilst still trying to ram RT down our throats and charging us over and above for that tech whilst nobody is even turning it on
  6. I thought that it 'kinda did' if you enabled some sort of command line thing?
  7. Twitters just a meme spam fest now. Every post, the first 5-10 comments are just blue check mark meme spambots crammed between a bunch of dropship junk ads. I've also refused to update it... so it's still twitter on my phone
  8. I see a whole bunch of model and texture updates too.... these seems to give more of an impression to the visual updates than RTX does? i mean, sure, i love that the games getting a tasty update to maybe play through again with some awesome visual updates. But, it's really not just from RTX. don't keep trying to oversell RTX NV.... it's still not worth the price hike
  9. I mean, wouldn't you? If you grew your company to this scale... would you give a fuck anymore? He's set up everyone and everything now. He rocks up, reads his script, fucks off and collects his cheque. At this point, the channel is so big, it doesn't matter if the content is shit. it's a content farm. It's the same as 5 minute crafts at this point.
  10. Honestly, I unsubbed from LTT a while ago. They're just a content farm now and their vids have just felt like poorly put together paid ads for years now. Drawn out, not to the point, not very in depth, not really 'honest' reviews of anything for ages. They totally sold out. (I hate to use that term, but it feels appropriate at this point). I'm not a hater, I used to absolutely LOVE this channel. But It's just not the same honest content any more. It used to be a guy that loved tech telling us what was good/bad about it and giving us actual useful information/opinion about it. Now its just an overly expensive lab, providing crap data, into a crap fortnite script, paid for by the next company release. It's a waste of time channel.
  11. I'm looking forward to seeing this in action! It seems to me to be a good idea and a nice way to reduce the need for wires in my machine. To be honest, I'm surprised that not much has changed in PC internal designs for so long. It's about time. I already like that I don't really need all the wires going around for HDD and CD/DVD drives anymore. M.2 Drives have really helped out there as well, although SATA drives improved this slightly. I imagine it might even help out a little with card sag if the socket is longer.
  12. Any board size/spec really, be nice to just have the basic quality of life better for mobo connectivity after so long...
  13. I quite like this idea. My first thought was 'So where's the plugs for the mobo to power this?' and when i saw all those sockets on the back I just started having nightmares with trying to figure out case compatibility. I feel like even if all the existing connectors were still on the front/side pointing and these were in place alongside them, I'd still like not having those fugly cables sticking out the front of the card. Mobos for sure need more work on their connectivity. so many connectors without 90 degree options for example still, for example. It's still a battle to hide and route everything that is connected in a build, even with dual chamber setups!
  14. I guess i also don't know why it has to be so 'laptop shaped'. What's that big chunk on the back for? They surely could have built this into a more full-sized keyboard style rather than the crappy compact laptop one? Resolution would also be important here. The more I think about it, the more I think this can be done quite easily with some AR glasses with a keyboard? I guess you want the power of a laptop and so need that hardware, but without having to factor in a screen, that form factor actually has much more freedom now...
  15. I actually quite like this idea. Even though laptops are generally quite portable, your desk isn't. Being able to have what is essentially a multi-screen desktop, pretty much anywhere you like (bed, living room, office, train, plane etc) seems like a pretty nice thing to have. I don't wear glasses though, so I don't think I would be too comfortable with this to begin with. But yeh, having a 'no desk office' seems like a nice way to save space and tidy up a bit. Does feel a bit "plugged into the matrix' though, imagine a whole office of these....
  16. I'm far less worried about the "people losing their jobs" thing than I am the "so many people are already being misled online, it's only going to get way worse from here". Think about how easy its going to be for mass scams getting money from your grandparents... or even yourself in a few years time, as it gets harder and harder to distinguish. The sheer volume and apparent realism of fake news from other countries or political parties, swaying voters, potentially radicalizing people in some way, pushing their opinions. Scamming lonely people out of their money with fake nudes/chat bots, on a mass scale. I'm already of the viewpoint that businesses like twitter are working on AI (probably using their existing platforms and data from them), to create better and better bots... and are then charging users to prove that they're not bots. And apparently now, still allowing AI/bots to use purchased accounts as well anyway. Create a problem for the user, charge them for it. I just can't see how AI is not going to be 99% used for nefarious deeds for humanity over good ones.
  17. People need to be able to perform their basic functions without having to take their eyes off the road. So i kind of agree with Hyundai here and think its a good call! Infotainment systems are getting more and more distracting. its needs reigning in. Even using car play takes a users attention away from the road far too much.
  18. I honestly couldn't feel worse for someone if they told me they owned one of these haha!
  19. I will believe it when i see it. Because right now, I'm just getting "Classic startup/wish/instragram ad/ticktok hack" vibes from it.
  20. Even if it was at MSRP, It only seems like good value when you compare it to a 3090ti at its old MSRP, which in itself wasn't good value. All these cards are still way overpriced.
  21. It would be interesting to see these stats over a, lets say, ten year period. Just to see what the demand was like as a trend and to see what the sort of impact the pandemic and crypto boom actually had to sales/demand. Just looking back over a year, or even 2-4years, probably doesn't give enough info as to whether things have "returned to normal".
  22. That's why i come here to see the comments to just get an idea of the video without having to go through the rigmarole...
