Is the download link for the 8k version already available on Floatplane? The youtube version is 77GB but the image seems a bit unfocused. -
Definitely my PC! I hate RGB or any lights at all when I game or work on the PC in the middle of the night! Pity it was dead, a completely darkened and silent PC is my dream.

I'm on a laptop with a Quadro 3600m, and I want to upgrade to something decent. The graphics card is a sizable chunk of a new computer, so if I could already have one from the contest, it would be much cheaper and easier to source the other components so I can finally go back to a decent gaming PC.

This might become a problem, especially on professional/business laptops which have encrypted BIOSes already, so any chance of modded BIOS is completely out of the question.

Good, many people are still using old computers with Windows XP. If Windows 10's performance will be as good as XP's (or even 8.1's) then it's gonna be the best OS to move those people to, if they cannot use linux for whatever reason. So a 32bit version is necessary.

Wait a little, next year we should start seeing cheap 40"+ 4k monitors for under $600.

Get youtube-dl, and use it to download the videos in 4k you want to watch.

I still think 1080p60 is a better choice than 4k now, because EVERYONE has 60fps screens, while barely anyone has 4k ones...
