  1. Good suggestion. But I don't really want to pay for a game I already own. Especially since it was intended as a gift so that I don't need to buy the game. Lol! I will keep that in mind though. GOG would be free of all the DRM crap that is crashing my game.
  2. I kinda thought this was the case. I definitely don't intend to redistribute the game. I just wanna play it again.
  3. Wow, this gained more attention than I thought. Though I was hoping to cause a stir on the Internet, I want it to be known that I don't condone piracy. I don't do it normally because if I want to play a game I feel that the team who worked to develop the game deserve a paycheck, aka my money. However, in this odd case, Games for Windows Live is causing trouble with running it in Windows 10 on Steam. Obviously, I've followed the pinned super guide on steam or I wouldn't be turning to this final resort. I'm thinking a hacked version might just keep GFWL turned off from the start. In my defense, I have tried everything to get the game to work through steam. I own the game, I have a key. I feel I have the right to play it. That's my moral standpoint.. turns out there's a lot of people who don't agree ?
  4. Hey everyone, I wanted to see how anyone else feels about pirating a game/software that you already own. For example, I received Fall Out 3 GOTY edition as a gift because I loved that game when I played on Xbox. Anyways, now I know that FO3 doesn't play nice with Windows 10. In fact, I've found it impossible to launch up to this point (it's been about 6 months). So now I'm considering getting a pirate copy to see if it launches in Windows 10. What does the Linus community think about this?
  5. Well now there's also the Define R6 coming out. So I have a lot to think about now.
  6. Thanks for all these suggestions. I think I'm going to go with the Enthoo Pro M. I really don't like the design of the Shogun and I had bad experiences with Thermaltake cases.
  7. Hey LTTF, Been away a long time. I come back seeking your neverending wisdom. I want to upgrade from my Define S. It's a great case, but I'm really loving the full glass side panels I've been seeing. I also want to add a radiator to my custom loop and that's going to be a close fit. My pump/res is almost touching my GPU backplate. My current setup is an atx X99 Strix motherboard and a gigabyte g1 980ti. I have a 360 rad at the top with 3 120mm venturis. I feel like my fans are spinning too fast, so I would like to add another radiator to get them to a whisper even when I'm gaming. I already have 3 140mm Venturi fans that I'd like to recycle by getting a 280mm radiator. So the TLDR is my perfect case is a classic atx tower, no cubes or flipped layouts. Supports a 360mm and a 280mm radiator in any config. Supports 140mm fan in rear. Bottom mounted PSU. Full tempered glass side panel. No 5.25" drive bays. I would like to spend between $125-$175. I can't find this case anywhere. Help me LTTF you're my only hope.
  8. Yeah, I got an 11.. I don't think my system is all that unique.
  9. I don't think I was clear. I don't need to stream a game to twitch. I'm just gonna be streaming at most a 60fps video capture from my DSLR. If I stream games to twitch I'll just use my gaming PC b/c it is beastly enough.
  10. Hey everyone! I'm trying to build a pc separate from my usual rig. One that I can dedicate to streaming media to youtube or twitch. It won't be for streaming games, just content. I'm a n00b to streaming and I don't know much about capture cards. I have two main questions, but any input is appreciated. I already have a mini itx h77 board. Can I get by with a cheapie centrino? And lastly can anyone recommend a capture card for when I eventually stream video from a DSLR? Thanks in advance
  11. Fair enough, but I think when I posted that the Amp Extreme hadn't yet hit the shelves.
  12. Not necessarily. Some cards with custom coolers use a reference board design and just slap a cooler on it. Evga is known for doing this on their non-superclocked cards.
