  1. I have my Nexus 7 set up with Moon+ Reader for ebooks (reads everything from epub to mobi and all things in between), and Manga Rock for my manga needs (if you read scanlations anyway...). Any Android tablet can do the same, you just need a good amount of storage for manga, so SD support would be a plus, or at least a 32GB device.
  2. Stagefright flaws seem to pop up a bit, even the 3DS browserhax exploit takes advantage of a flaw by executing a malformed mp4 file through the 3DS browser (n3DS only, o3DS uses a different exploit). It would be hilarious if this was the exact same stagefright flaw.
  3. Nope, it doesn't even fit the definition for a terrorist attack. It wasn't to incite fear, I don't even think it was for political gain. Just black hat hackers being arseholes.
  4. I'd rather get an Xperia Z? (whichever is current). Thin+Light+Powerful (not to mention great sound).
  5. F2P are the biggest money makers? No surprise there, just look at companies like Nexon, with games like MapleStory and Mabinogi. Or Valve with TF2 and CSGO.
  6. What the hell? They weren't even charging money for it. I'm glad Nintendo isn't like this with Pokémon ROM hacks and RMXP fan games. Sure, they were probably using assets owned by Konami, but still, not like they were asking for money and donations towards the project.
  7. new 3DS: Better CPU (Quad-core, original had a Dual-core). Better coprocessor (4x, compared to 2x of the original). Double the RAM (256MB, compared to 128MB of the original). Overall just a faster and smoother experience, even more so if you install homebrew (check gbatemp), which also allows you to utilise the faster CPU with older 3DS games (FPS improvements with Pokemon, anyone?). As well as emulators (which perform better on the n3DS). Sadly Nintendo didn't give you the option of utilising the new specs on old 3DS games, which is why I mentioned homebrew.
  8. That's about the same we would pay for a 3440x1440 ultrawide, with roughly the same requirements to run at decent FPS.
  9. https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/3zjeiu/newsthe_first_thin_mechanical_switches_designed/ Apparently these newly designed switches.
  10. Revolt? More like revolting. What an ugly case.
  11. For FPS, it really depends on the game. 2 examples of games that benefit from SSD speeds are Skyrim and Minecraft. Skyrim loads quite a few things on-the-fly from storage, an SSD greatly speeds up the process. Minecraft is constantly reading from disk when loading the world and chunks, FPS commonly drops when loading chunks, an SSD can reduce the effect chunk loading has on FPS. Most games usually only benefit when it comes to loading times, very few actually get better FPS on an SSD.
  12. Everyone saying they want it, are kinda missing the fact that this isn't a consumer GPU.
  13. You'll probably be more respected if you actually bother to learn the language, that goes for anywhere English isn't the main language.
  14. With a 50% reduction in performance for AMD cards (...slight exaggeration, probably).
