With a bios update that board supports a i7 3770k
-
Yeah it's expensive but for me i had to by a new laptop for school. And did not have the space for a desktop in my apartment so it made sense to invest in a laptop that i could game on. And i probablly wont upgrade in three years or so. If it si too expensive you could look into a laptop with a 1050ti mabye? I'm not updated on the market right now but they shoud be cheaper.

For me they are very comfortable and fit nicely over my ear. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-akg-k7xx-red-edition A drop on them right now and check out Linus's rewiew if you have time

I would recomend you to check out the AKG K7XX, have been using them for over a year now. They are great allround headphones.

I have been using the gl502vm as my school/gaming pc for the past 7 months now an i am very happy with it. It is light, good performace and i just in class use i can stretch the battery life to a bit over 6 hours. But it runs quite hot and loud when you game on it.

Forgot to specify, its WiFi slowdowns.I will look into access point prices and if they can match the deal i found earlier. Thanks for the help!
-
I live in an apartment building so there at no modem in the apartment, so yeah an access point may be a better purchase. I do have issues with the network coverage and slowdowns. Therefor i think i will benefit from a upgrade.

I am looking to upgrade the isp included router and found a deal on a Asus RT-AC51U today. Will i notice any slowdowns since the RJ45 ports only support 10/100? I have a 30/30 mbit connection.

Well, i bought my mobo and cpu used and i did not toutch the bios and im fine, but you can do a bit of research on your mobo and see if there are any crucial updates but i would guess that it will be okay.

If you are running a stock cooler you definitely need to upgrade it. I am running a H100i that i picked up cheap from a friend of mine but any decent aircooler should probably be fine for a light to medium oc. Here are some links that i used when overclocking my i5. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/263043-29-1156-core-core-overclocking-guide

I have overclocked my i5 750 to 3.8 ghz and it's been treating me good, but if you are not comfortable with it buying new part are a better solution. Then i would advise you to go with the i3 instead of a fx cpu. My brother has been running an i3 6100 for 6 months now and it's a solid budget cpu.
-
Have you tried overclocking your i5?
-
I just rebuilt my pc with a i5 750, then overclocked it to 3.8 ghz. Very happy with the performance, if it is a upgrade from your current cpu i would say go for it!!

What software should i use when stress testing the overclock on my i5 750? It is cooled by a H100i.
