  2. As people have previously mentioned, the K7XX are a great choice. But you should also consider the A50X, DT990 Pro and DT 770 Pro (make sure these last two are the Pro spec, you'll probably find the other versions sound signature a bit flat) If you like your bass without the sound being muddy, also consider the BeyerDynamics DT990 Pro 250 Ohms. You can get them around the 200 mark if you search around a little bit (I got mine for 180$) and boy do these babies know bass. They sound absolutely lovely with detailed, precise bass and crystal clear highs. They're also ridiculously comfy and light thanks to their plastic and aluminium construction. The only downside I'd say is that the highs are so precise that they can get a little fatiguing after listening to loud music for a while. http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/dt-990-pro.html The DT770 Pros are closed unlike the 990s and the K7XX but that will give you a little bit more bass and more "dynamic" sounding. They can be found for less than 200$ online. http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/dt-770-pro-250-ohm.html And do I even need to explain why I'm talking about the M50X? I mean, heck, you can even replace the cable if you're the type of person to break this kind of stuff like me http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/99aff89488ddd6b1/ If I had to pick, I find the DT990 Pro strike the perfect balance of bass and neutral response so that the music doesn't sound dull nor muddy. The M50X have a little bit too much bass I find and I haven't tried either the DT770 Pro and the K7XX (I have tried the K701 and I find it sounds a bit dull so I'm assuming since the K7XX has more bass, that would fix the main gripe I had with it BUUUUUUT that's always a question of personal taste. Hope this helps! -François
  3. I dont think I really need to elaborate furthermore on the subject. Grab them while they're hot! https://account.oneplus.net/invite/claim/ZP2I-VBPR-S5W6-Y3BG https://account.oneplus.net/invite/claim/KM6Q-NUMJ-I3YD-ZUA0 https://account.oneplus.net/invite/claim/HJMI-TFWV-XEFU-XZIA
  4. The old One was a fantastic phone. I can't wait to try this one out with my own hands!
  5. I like having goofy unboxings from time to time! Please keep them. Product reviews and everything else are nice and you deliver especially well to get information across. But unboxings goofy or not are always fun to watch and lighten the mood from all the technical aspects of the PC world and to be honest that's what got me hooked to this channel. I can get benchmarks and charts pretty much anywhere on the web but the personal approach you take with most of your videos is really hard to find and very enjoyable. Please keep your channel the way it is Linus!

  7. Wow guys! Thanks a lot for the replies! It really help out a lot. I'm definitely going to go down the custom route now and {EAC} Shoot em UP, I took a look at OMV and it seems to be better for my NAS needs. Again thanks a lot guys, each and everyone of you are awesome!
  8. Hello storage gurus! I'm looking to get a NAS at some point in the near future and I was debating whether to get a prebuilt Synology 2-bay NAS (DS212J) or to build my own NAS (for roughly the same price) and set it up using FreeNAS. I'm already aware of most of the pros/cons of running a prebuilt vs custom solution but I've heard ton of people praising Synology's software so it kinda makes the solution appealing even though I'm "limited" to two bays (having more than 8TB of centralized storage seems of questionable utility for me and my parents) but then again building a custom solution would be a cool little project. Right now, software is pretty much my only concern as hardware is pretty much taken care of and I'm happy with both solutions. So, does anybody have some insight on FreeNAS or Synology's software? Which one should I pick? How do they compare in functionality and ease of use? I'd like something that would be relatively easy of use for backing up data, streaming videos and accessing files at home or away. I'm only going to use it for basic NAS stuff, nothing too fancy involving either illuminati magic or taking over the world and since I'm not exactly a network demi-god (I still know my way around software and hardware) ease of use and setup simplicity would be appreciated. Extra info that may or may not be useful: I plan on having this little puppy run in my room 24/7/365.25 Thanks for your feedback/insight and sorry about the long question! -François
  9. Thanks a lot guys! After reading all of your replies, I bought myself an HTC One. After a day of using it, I really have to say, so far I absolutely do not regret those extra 290$ :D
  10. Wow thanks a lot for all he replies guys! You're all awesome! *Internet hi-five*
  11. Hello I need help deciding on which phone to get and if you guys could help me decide, that would be amazing. I have a 350$ credit to buy a new phone. I've narrowed my selection down to two phones and I really can't decide between a Nexus 4 16GB (360$) or an HTC One 32GB (650$). I'm buying my phone no-term so that's why I'm using these prices. So would you rather: a) Get a Nexus 4 16GB b) Spend an extra 290$ and get an HTC One 32GB Do you think the HTC One pros justify the 290$ premium? Would you pick a or b? Why? I mean looking at it, the pros/cons look something like this: >N4 Pros: -Gets the latest Android updates -Hey. + 290$. >HTC One Pros: -Out of this world build quality (yes, I do care a lot about that) -Amazing speakers -The screen is the best in the west -Camera is exceptional in everyday situations -More storage (I can live with 16GB but 32GB is always nice to have) -Battery lasts longer -4G LTE (vs 3G on the N4) Thank you guys for your time! :D
  12. Alright, thanks a lot for the help!
  13. 9/10 Loving the light and blur in this one but I find the leaves in the foreground distracting. :P I just take pictures as a hobby and f*ck around with Lightroom and PS so don't expect too much out of me xD
