  1. I'm looking for the 1080p version, i don't need 1440p, And i cant seem to find the 1080p version of the G5... Link?!
  2. Alright, I'll cut to the chase, My flailing fat arms did a dummie thing and made my ikea metal headphone holder fly into my Samsung CF591 monitor and made this : ( picture below ) So now, I am forced to find a replacement, and i humbly request the aid of this forum, And speaking of the replacement, The replacement should have : -1920 x 1080p ( peasant resolution compared to nowadays, I know ) - Curved, Because ones you go curved you'll never be heard from again, So no flats. - Freesync because that's what I have. - budged max 350 euros. Thank you in advance to anyone made suggestions and i hope papa Jensen with his thicc ass leather jacket blesses your phrames per second, Cheers.
  3. I have googled my ass off just to find this IC, Designation 4580 3574U JRC. If anyone can be a gent and help this ole'chap out on this, it would be much appreciated. Cheers!
  4. what cable are you using as an input and output? meaning, Are you using both way male jacks from your speaker to your mobo's green port I/O ? It might be a faulty cable, Also, what speakers are you using?
  5. Information like, do you use any sound cards or DAC/AMPS ect, It might be a faulty cable or the jack isnt plugged in all the way in.
  6. More information please. And if i understood it correctly The speaker right side starts playing but the left side is silent and vise versa ?
  7. Is is possible for you to do a bit of digging into amazon's lossless streaming aka Amazon Music HD? Also, excellent write up and analysis GoldenOne. I am using Tidal currently, I chose tidal because i felt that it was better than my first streaming service that i got into, Google Play music. And i will admit, Like a sucker, I chose Tidal because it had the option of HIFI, But after switching it on and off and upgrades and downgrades, I didn't notice a huge difference, the only thing that i did notice is that HIIFI had a bit more of a '' expansive '' sound, It might have been a placebo effect on my part but whether it was true or not, I didn't feel like the price was justified enough from what i was getting out of it.
  8. any suggestion on a sub woofer to work with my Audio Pro Addon fives ? and do you think that if i use the Right and left channels on my DAC/AMP and hook them upto the Addon fives, will it work? and about the knob, i was asking this forum if i buy the knob and hook it up to the back port of the USB port of the addon fives, will that knob work??
  9. Also, if you want to make the mackies wireless, The MP-BTA BT adapter will just do that.
  10. sense you are within north america, check out Mackie's MP series or audio technica's E40 E50 series. https://www.audio-technica.com/cgi-bin/product_search/headphones/headphones_cat.pl?select_multiple_3=In-Ear&lang=eng https://mackie.com/products/mp-series-ear-monitors Would go for the mackies IMO.
  11. Remember this kids, The very same muscle tissue of your lips is the exact same tissue of your dark hole man cover. And for those who value there privacy too much, stick your head in and pucker up those lips and see the results you get.
  12. Im looking for a Sub-Woofer and i need your help, budget between 135 Euros to 160 euros max, any model suggestion is welcome. I have a pair of audio pro Addon fives, I'm going to hook my FX audio DAC/AMP DAC-X6's Right and Left channel to the Right and Left channel of the speakers or connect a optical cable between the speakers and the DAC, And connect the Sub-woofer to the Addons fives via the speakers sub out connection. I am very well aware that the Addon fives have a build in amp, But i'm going to use my DAC/AMP's interface to switch between from my headphones to the addon fives and vise versa. Below will be a picture of my DAC/AMP's ports and the ports of my speaker. Also, Another thing, See the Addon fives have a USB 2.0 port behind it and it was intended by the manufacturer to be used with one of there modules, The RX100 Bluetooth module, But the said module has been discontinued along with the speakers that i use. My question is that is there a chance for me to connect a audio control deck to the USB 2.0 that in the back of the speaker to control the volume of the speakers themselves ? The reason i want to do this is because i do not want to use the remote control that is provided by the manufacturer sense i find it clumsy to use. a big PHAT knob that's hooked up back of the speakers to the USB 2.0 port sounds better imo. Thank you with sprinkles on top.
  13. Update : I have recently discovered that the FREKVENS line and the collaboration with Teenage Engineering and IKEA is a limited time only, Meaning ones the FREKVENS speakers are gone in IKEA, they are gone for good. What I also discovered is that Teenage Engineering has released some sort of guide for those people who have a 3D printer or to anyone who is close to a maker space, a series of mods for you to print. So for those who intend to buy the speaker and mod it, Knock yourself out! https://teenage.engineering/designs/frekvens-hacks
  14. Check out Mackie MC-250 or the MC-300. I own a pair of Mackie MC-250 and they are super comfortable, They where made in mind with studio sessions and people spend alot of time in the studio, That would be my good go to. I would also recommend a good DAC/AMP as it can improve quality if you can afford it. And as for the mic, I use blue microphones snowball ice, the quality is good but if you have a mechanical keyboard, it can pickup the clicking. The microphone is somewhere around 50-60 euros ( off the top of my head for the pricing ) and the MC-250 was somewhere around 100 euros for me. One other poput option is getting the Philips SHP9500S and getting the V-Moda BoomMic pro and combining them together. This set up is under 100 dollars.
  15. QKZ CK5 if you like bass a bit more, Otherwise, QKZ VK4 for more of a balanced sound. CK5 costs between 2-5 euros. And the VK4 costs around 11-12 euros. Take this advice with salt, The build quality can turn out to be great to dog sh!t.
  16. Yes, Technically this isn't there first rodeo, they did partner up with Sonos to make a smart speaker.
  17. For those who are wondering what in the hell or who in the hell is Teenage Engineering, think of it as kinda of a DIY audio visualisation tools and machines. Also, i would like to clarify that i am not affiliated with Teenage engineering as well. Link to Teenage engineering : https://teenage.engineering
  18. You can walk into your IKEA store and take a look right now. USA: https://www.ikea.com/us/en/search/products/?q=frekvens
  19. From JBL to Denon, Everyone these days makes and creates Bluetooth speakers and now.....IKEA as well? Yes that's right, The same furniture store with confusing names and some times hard to follow instructions made a Bluetooth speaker. Now for those who where in the know, IKEA did announce that they would be collaborating with a Swedish company called Teenage Engineering 2 years ago. Now introducing the Frankenstein love child of a marriage that was never meant to be but turned out ok at the end : The FREKVENS A moduler type of speaker(s) This is what i would consider as the '' big mama '' : Smaller version that i would consider as the regular portable in yellow: Comes in red too: When you wanted smaller and extra portable: Now This isn't just '' another speaker '' duuhhh, Whats so special? Well, i'm glad you asked, See, the IKEA-ishly named FREKVENS isn't just another Bluetooth speaker, Its a LINE of items that either compliment the speaker OR IS a modular for you to attach to the speaker itself, Kinda like the AIAIAI TMA-2. The whole picture of the line/ collection comprises of 27 modules, here is one picture of the collection: Below are the individual pictures of the modules. The LED multi - use module that flashes and lights up according to the music or the animation: A normal LED lamp that just bounces to the music, Turns on and off according to the bass or the kick Whats that sparkie? It looks Dull? The red and the yellow ones? Well good thing that IKEA has some MORE attachments to spice up the looks even more of the regular portable speaker: For the red one: For the yellow one: Heck, there is ANOTHER LED module for the regular portable speaker: Well, what about a stand for those speakers? I'M SORRY, DID YOU SAY TRIPOD? ( LED lights and modules can be attached, Do not know about the speakers ) Now, there are more pictures and items in the same name as the speaker(s) but this post is getting long as it is and you can check the other items out in the links below. Now time for you to meet one of the mad lads who is behind this: Teenage Engineering's Jesper Kouthoofd had this to say this: Opinion: I think this is great, I would like to see Linus reviewing this and see what he makes of it. Thank you for reading and i hope to hear from you all. Cheers. 22. Hi, haven't posted in a long time so im just going to cut to the chase. I got a audio technica ath e40 IEMS long ago with a horrible OEM cable, The left ear piece has no audio while the right is just working fine, If i rotate the connection the one on the left, then the audio signal starts coming. I will be fixing this by getting a different A2DC cable but in the meanwhile, I want to upgrade the tips from silicone to foam, I checked Comply and the website said to get the T500 foam tips, Its 19 euros but i know a website where you can get comply T400 foams like tips named fabulous tips for 8 euros. Tldr; I want to know the difference between T400 and T500 so i do t have to pay 19 euros and instead pay 8 euros. Thank you and have a great day.
