  1. Quite smart early next year was going to be busy. I really have high hopes I really enjoyed the bits I played.
  2. Neither of those are for sale anymore in the NL where I can see. As for the table I often route it under my clothing or at least my jacket because on the bike I need to have it clear. That said I defiantly do not want something wireless, I do like my wires
  3. Just to clarify I don't need anything for gaming I have a Very good sennheiser G4ME one headset Beside that thanks for the suggestion.
  4. After many years of loyal service my little pair of Sennheiser HD 219 onear have started to disintegrate as the pads just start to fall apart. So I am looking for something new and perhaps and upgrade does not have to be a 100 bucks may be less (using USD here, but I am EUR). What I need is a pair that is rugged up to abuse, does not die to a drop of rain and I do like the sound profile of sennheiser and I do not need strong bass or anything as my choice of music varies widely They will be mainly if not 100% of the time be used to listen to my deezer download or streams on my phone, so low impedance is needed. Other than that I am open as the market is a bit large and I just don't know enough about it
  5. Not sure in the 980 range, from my own testing it sure aint worth it for the 970 range.
  6. Considering the main supply/logistics/pricing/control and well in fact just the one program that makes the business possible for where I work dates back to the 80ties and is only now SLOWLY being replaced I can't say I am to surprised. The problem is that if it is not broken why fix it, if a system works and is proven reliable than there is no incentive to change it and doing so could make it less reliable and that is a huge deal.
  7. I have to agree with the machine sometimes you just want some peace and quiet.
  8. Yeah read this before, not surprising though. I am not audio expert whatever so I just play it save and buy sennheiser, cheap or expensive units they never failed to deliver what I needed.
  9. Meh I know some review sites just ask local webshops for samples in return for a mention that they got the sample from set webshop. Still AMD is all kinds of shady atm and I aint a fan.
  10. Right conclusion so far: Normal use: EVGA FTW+ is faster and quieter Daily OC: EVGA FTW+ seems to be more stable in my benchmarks, less fluctuations and slightly higher clocks on core and mem Extreme OC (running benchmarks): Gigabyte G1 just gets higher clocks, not by a leap, but it does. However I found mine to be unstable as heck at those clocks. However with a price difference of 30 Euros where I life I say the cake goes to the G1, though EVGA warranties might be something to consider.
  11. Give me an other hour or so and I have the direct line up of the G1 vs the FTW+
  12. Interesting makes them an even better option, at their previous price point they where hard to beat and even more now so. I still love mine that is for sure. Granted it aint perfect, but no phone is and this phone is priced to be unlike the ridiculous amount of money they ask for flagship phones these days.
  13. Totally fine I ran a CF of 290x of a 850W Do wonder though who 280x, you have them already or?
  14. An other reason not to sign up for netflix than. Get the picture if I pay for something I don't want adds, I pay because I value my time. No matter what the adds are about, if I pay I don't want them seriously, get the picture already TV and movie industry is still so far behind, look at the music and game industry and learn from it. I pay for all my games, I pay monthly to stream my songs (deezer) and yet no good paid option is available for TV and movies (good I mean service+Price+Selection).
  15. Wait for some reviews they are bound to come up in the next few weeks.
  16. Buy from sites with reputation systems really, always reverse img search the pictures they post, if you find them elsewhere, it is a red flag instantly. I generally also ask for a picture of the serial number of the card and box (to match them up and again check if said person owns them) when there is no or a low rating. Ebay does work I guess, it is not big here though so I would not know. Also check if there still is warranty and if it is transferable. Other than that you be fine. As a person who brought a fair number of second hand GPUs I can say it can be well worth it
  17. I do kind of like the style of these cards, toned down works for me. Still unless you really want to push the barriers for the benchmarks these cards are just not worth their premium sadly.
  18. Sounds like a poor of poor R9 290s than considering 7970 (280x) have been faster.
  19. Ok just took them out and tested 1 by 1 in furmark briefly and loaded into TSW. Neither where showing artifacts. However there is a 20FPS difference between both cards in the same area in TSW, however both score the same in furmark. Just more confusion, if it goes like this I might just fry em on purpose at least I know what is what than
  20. Going to troubleshoot some more tomorrow, taking out 1 card and just run them both independent. Might just RMA the things see what they say, they are within warranty
  21. Depends a bit of local laws and such to. Here I return tot he retailer and they have to come up with a good solution, the idea is that they earn their margin to provide a service to. So say my card dies within a week in that case I would demand a replacement and would not accept a send back to factory, that is their issue not mine. Naturally if it is 1.5 years later it is a case of back to factory maybe, but they are still my contact and they have to handle it. With that said so far everything has gone well with my RMA for MSI, Powercolor and Inno3D GPU wise. None of those beat Corsair though sadly they don't make GPUs
  22. Nothing there either, but it is clear as day in TSW. Sigh I just want some bloody confirmation, why GPUS why you be so annoying, if you are deign just let me know
