Stick with the 6300. The 4300 isn't much cheaper.
Get the 270. It's much cheaper and not much slower than the 270x: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-video-card-r9270acdfc
The ssd is great. It's not the fastest but it pretty much just as fast as other higher tiered ssd's like the samsugn 840.
    Cheaper mobo: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970ad3p
Antec One for the case:  http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-case-one
The Strider is a good psu and is plenty for your system.
I'd pay $10 more for a slightly larger hdd: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003
    As for the monitor: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-i2367fh

If you're shooting for under $1000 AUD. You're going to have to do some hefty downgrades to get everything you need.

The performance boost isn't much when you consider haswell is more expensive for the cpu AND mobo, Ivy is the better bang for your buck choice.

It really depends. You may end up getting a good 4670K, or a bad one. And you may end up getting a 4670K that stays relatively cool. You will technically get better performance, but it's pretty negligible.

You must have some idea what to look for? Do you need loads of buttons on your mouse? If you don't specifically want loads of buttons, I'd say no. Just get one with two thumb buttons.
Is there any specific reason you wouldn't want a corded mouse. If no, get a corded mouse.
I take it you're right handed or don't need a lefty mouse.
Do you have weird shaped hands at all? Are they big or small hands? Do you wrest your entire hand on the mouse (palm grip) or do you hold the mouse with finger tips and arch your fingers (claw grip)?

Look up reviews and unboxings on youtube of mice that you think you might like. Keep these questions in mind. Once you have done that and think you found one you like, ask on forums if anyone else has that specific mouse. Ask them is there any reason you shouldn't buy one with regards to the expectations you have for it (number of buttons etc).

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this: Make sure the DPI settings on the mouse go above 2500DPI. You wouldn't want to get a mouse with very little DPI. That doesn't mean that more DPI = better. It just that you don't want to get one with very little. 2500DPI to 3500DPi is perfect.
Here is one or two to start you off:

    Hey guys,

So I'm about to buy a new 2TB Seagate Barracuda and was wondering if I should spend a bit more moola in order to get my programs and games running speedy. I currently have a (75% full) 120GB Intel 330 SSD as my boot drive, which I use for Windows (derrr), AutoCAD, Solidworks and other important programs. I currently have all my programs of lesser importance (Photoshop, games) on my 5-yr old Samsung HDD. Should I spend a bit more and buy a SSD for caching this new drive? Cheapest SSD I can see for sale now is a $79 64GB Fujitsu (Australian prices).

Minor detail, but the fact that I'm reduced to a 5.6 WEI score is really annoying me now. Would new hard-drive bring it up to at least 7.8?

    Thanks in advance.
