  1. Thank you -- setting the clock fixed this. This was the only forum where anyone even mentioned that as a possible fix!
  2. In case something goes wrong, what laptop manufacturers have the easiest warranty/service? I am looking to buy a new laptop, something on the upper end with an 8th gen i7, and a 1060 or higher. I am going to use this in school, however things can get broken inside of a bookbag or fall of a desk, etc. I would love to hear what your guys' experiences are with the different manufacturers are. I would be especially interested in "smaller" brands like OriginPC and XoticPC. Thanks! Edit: I Just actually found this which was super helpful, but if anyone has anything else to add, why not!
  3. You should be fine, it's not like you ate the whole tube.
  4. Thought you meant to log into the mobile app. I'll check again edit: mine works, but looks like @zMeul helped you out.
  5. Hi guys, I have a 3.5" drive that I need to nab some files off of a Seagate Barracuda 1tb drive for someone, and don't wan't to go through the whole internal-hdd struggle. My bays are a mess and don't want to put another internal drive in there just to take it out. Can anyone recommend a good USB adapter? I could buy some random one from amazon but looking for people who have experience. Thanks!
  6. My current SSD just broke and I am running a slow HDD, and need to reinstall windows because windows 10 is broken. TY apacer!
  7. Yeah I am hoping it isn't a hardware issue, because I would want to wait to see how the new architectures are when they release. Windows 7 was great when I was using it, might have to go back to it or try a fresh install. I will run a chkdsk after next reboot:
  8. Did this, still froze. Almost broke my windows too. It didn't want to boot up but I got it to work after a system restore. I'm not sure what to try next, maybe partition this drive, and put a fresh windows without any sort of upgrade into it?
  9. Hi guys, A week or two ago I started having problems, and narrowed it down to a bad SSD. I got a empty HDD, put Windows 7 on it and everything was great. Slow, but that is expected. I tried to do the windows 10 upgrade, which did not work on either the SSD or HDD. Strange, but I kept getting errors. I then downloaded a windows 10 iso from Microsoft, burned it to a disk and was able to upgrade just fine from there. I am now on windows 10 and things are mostly fine. The one problem I have is that when I try to install the Logitech drivers, my computer inexplicably freezes. I can't seem to get anything to respond. Updates I've tried: LGS_8.72.98_x64_Logitech LGS_8.78.129_x64_Logitech Specs: ( according to Speccy, some things may not be slightly incorrect, but the parts are all good) Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz 31 °C Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz (8-9-9-24) Motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (CPUSocket) 33 °C Graphics XG270HU (2560x1440@144Hz) ASUS VH242H (1920x1080@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics 3000 (ASRock) 4096MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (XFX Pine Group) 64 °C CrossFire Disabled Storage 931GB Seagate ST31000528AS (SATA) 31 °C 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARS-00Y5B1 (SATA) 30 °C 931GB Western Digital WDC WD1003FZEX-00MK2A0 (SATA) 31 °C 465GB Seagate ST3500320AS (SATA) 31 °C Optical Drives HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NSB0 Audio AMD High Definition Audio Device Mouse: Logitech G700 Keyboard: Logitech G19 Headset: Logitech G930 My main headset it the HyperX cloud 2's, but i need to wait till my RMA comes back, and I am buying a finalmouse, but am gonna wait till the Scream 1 comes out to decide which one to buy. I love my G19, and without the drivers the screen only shows this distracting, and bright as hell logitech logo.
