So I currently run everything that's wired in my room through a router than then goes through the floor into a Virgin Superhub. I'm looking for a Gigabit switch to use instead of the router. Great deal, but I have most of the games so it's not actually worth it.

I stopped mining as soon as the difficulty went over 1, only got 105 coins.

For everyone not being able to use their wallet, download this and place it in the folder with the wallet: http://www.noheattomorrow.com/zip/libwinpthread-1.dll They delayed the launch and I went to sleep with a 3 min auto clicker on my miner so I'd get some coins rather than none.

I can't save £100 by turning my PC off for 3 nights. I caught DogeCoin when it was pretty new and made £100 for leaving my PC on.

Depends what coin you choose, I found LottoCoin was pre-mined so I just stopped mining. CatCoin isn't pre-mined.

I suppose Litecoin is safer, but mining these new coins and waiting for them to gain value is pretty profitable.

I know a lot of you didn't like the idea of DogeCoin, but there's a coin coming to rival it. Bitcoin Talk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=380130.0 I'll be mining them for a while when they come out until they get too difficult to mine. Only because I can see it getting a lot of hype the same as DOGE did. I'm pretty sure it comes out 11PM GMT 23/12/2013 which is tonight. As you can see the difficulty is low, I can see it going to 10 before sunrise on the 24th.

Dogecoin paid for my GPU ;D It'll always be a bit of a joke, as much as I'd like, I don't think that Dogecoin can grow much more.

I'd say they're the same... pretty sure you can get any program for accounting on both OS. Just personal preference in what is easier to use and to get the job done more efficiently.
