  1. That voltage looks a little high. I think that's probably what is causing the temperature issue, 3000 series is prone to that. Try downing the voltage a bit to like 1.1 or 1.2 and check the temps then, and stress test it to see if it is stable.
  2. it may just be high temps for that one xeon. I mean I've never heard of idle temps that high, but you never know. Do you have an overclock on that?
  3. have you checked to see if your pump is functioning correctly? It may be something wrong with the aio. I know it would be a hassle but maybe try to put it on a new cpu/mobo and see if the temps are similar across the board. If they are, then it has to be something wrong with the aio. Also, do you know if your radiator fan is running up to speed?
  4. Hi everyone, so I wanted to build a budget rig for media and light gaming and have an old AMD Athlon II X2 260 3.2 GHz 2x1 MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor laying around. To be honest I have built many computers in the past but have never worked with the AMD side of things before. I was looking at this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157581&cm_re=am3-_-13-157-581-_-Product However, I am not exactly sure on the compatibility of these two components, but pardon my ignorance. Also, if these two do happen to work, is there anything I should look out for when completing this AMD build? Thanks.
  5. About half that. I think I'm going to settle with an Asus Z97-A.
  6. I said I didn't want to spend that much money... That's almost $300.
  7. Hi, I am on the market now for a new mobo, I need one to fit my 4690k. I don't need a "gaming" motherboard, or any fancy features, but I do want one that is a good overclocker and has great reliability. Any suggestions? (I don't exactly want to break the bank either)
  8. I'm looking for a great PSU, I'm not really sure exactly what I want to get. I'm pretty sure I want to get at least an 80+ Gold, and I need at least 650-700w. I don't want to shell out a ton of money, but I definitely want something that has a great history, is reliable, and won't break the bank. Thanks.
  9. yeah if i was overclocking i'd for sure get one, but I think my temps will be fine considering skylake isn't exactly the hottest-running generation
  10. Do you think I should get a cooler? I mean I got a locked processor so I won't be overclocking or anything... Although I am a little skeptical on the thermals that the 390x will produce. I could invest in a 212 evo or something like that, but do you think I'd be okay without it?
  11. If you look at the link i posted after, I actually got an 850 evo Edit: *840 evo
  12. I already purchased this but am able to cancel it, just wanted to know if everything checks out okay. Thanks. I already have a case, also I going to use this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA12K1RJ7425&ignorebbr=1
  13. Oh. I guess it did. Well that's confusing why the mic would have that problem.
