  1. That's definitely true, I hear that from pretty much everyone. Although, I always get a good laugh out of it
  2. A new GPU, A Gtx 1060 6gb is all that I need to complete my build. It just takes a while to save up
  3. Most games have "video" in the options portion. Depending on the game, sometimes it can be called "Display" the setting can show up as Windowed, Windowed Borderless, Fulscreen... etc
  4. Not a problem it took quite a bit of tinkering for me as well. I ended up taking mine to 40% (2%) below minimum to get playable framerate. It just bounces between 30-75 fps oddly enough...
  5. So I haven't read this from anyone here, but 50% is actually not the correct one either. It's 42% for your normal resolution, because Dice logic.
  6. I am from the US and I can confirm 'gunJesusfreedomfries'murica' is my favorite time of day. Nothing beats a good old mid day sit down for some good 'gunJesusfreedomfires'murica'. On a side note, cake is a gift from the heavens.
  7. Gotta be careful with double sided tape on mechanical drives though But you shouldn't have too much to worry about, if I remember Linus said he hasn't had any tape fail him yet in a video
  8. I'm gonna follow this! When you figure out mounts for your laptop drives post a picture if you don't mind I'm making the switch from my Alienware 17 (display had a stroke as well as the connector cable) and I'm building a rig that I'm going to use my laptop drives in.
  9. I could totally use the code the only thing I lack right now is a GPU and PSU for my build, the other parts just came in. EVGA is top notch as well. If you still have it I'd be thankful for it. I'm in the US as well
  10. For me it's Final Fantasy VII and Chrono Trigger, that's actually how I learned gaming. I was about 6 I think, and my Dad just threw me into them and said "learn how to play these and you'll be good." So many memories of trial and error.
  11. That's a good idea, when I found the steel series mouse I use I actually went to Best Buy and just felt around on the mice to see what I thought was comfortable then shopped online for the better deal.
  12. Personally I love anything steel series, mine has the build quality of a tank. I use it with my laptop and I travel a lot. I've been using it for about 4 years and it has only suffered a little amount of damage. Albeit I abuse it a lot (poor thing) anyways check out the Steel Series Rival, also what kind of grip do you usually have on your mouse? Palm or claw?
  13. Colton is like the giveaway fairy at this point. Right on man! Thanks!
  14. Rocket science is pretty awesome! I'm studying Aerospace Engineering, the dream is SpaceX, I'm also a computer enthusiast (why I'm here) but if you really like computers I'd say Electrical like everyone else has said. Some schools will let you concentrate on what you really like to do in that field as well. For example a friend of mine studying Electrical is concentrated on cpu architecture or something like that. Best of luck to you!
