  1. im pretty sure it was broken when it was released in 2014 on consoles, and they didnt make an effort to try and make it any better when they released it on pc
  2. there seems to be a mistake in the video where luke talks about what type of memory it has, it has LPDDR4, not GDDR4 ram.
  3. its not that its being weird, its that its not even detecting that there is a bridge there, though i have a bridge on there. I've tried removing the second card, then putting it back in. I've tried 2 different bridges, different ways. It was working when i was using windows 7 pro, then when i moved to windows 10 insider it no longer was detecting the bridge.
  4. yeah, its only on windows update currently, its 15.20-150522a-184226E
  5. I'm currently running windows 10 insider preview, and for some reason i cant seem to get my crossfire bridges working with my HD7950's. I don't know if its a current driver issue with the windows 10 driver, if that's fixed in the new fast build of windows 10 or not (woops wrong section, was meant to put this in troubleshooting)
  6. according to the graph the 980 performs 250% faster in dx12, the 290x performs 516% faster in DX12, and 549% faster in mantle, so how does nvidia's dx12 perform so much better than amds DX12
  7. my 1366 board and build with a GTX 480, it would have been better price and performance wise to wait for the next gen of stuff, or buy the amd card that came out just after it
  8. everyone who thinks that amd drivers are shit should look at the newest beta drivers from nvidia, my friend with dual GTX 980s running the beta drivers can't even adjust anything in the nvidia control panel settings without crashing the control panel, and ive been using amd beta drivers, and i haven't had a single problem with them. there has only been one problem that i saw with an older beta driver where things would crap there pants in dead space 3 but i havent seen anything like that since then
  9. A friend who has been watching linus tech tips since near the beginning showed me the channel and i have learnt more in the year of watching your videos than i learnt before that. Your channel (and logan's channel) were the first 2 channels i subscribed to on youtube. i do wish more of the give-aways and sponsors (other than dollar shave club, that i have now been recommending to everyone) worked with australians.
