  1. Well, no more get-blinded-if-you-look-in-that-direction -zone that covers half the room.
  2. So I've been offered an E-MU 0204 USB at a cheap price. Sounds like a good deal? Well, there's no driver CD, and I can't seem to find any working ones online. If anyone here has a CD with windows drivers on it, I'd be more than grateful to receive those files. And yeah, it has to be the USB version. Attached is what it looks like.
  3. I'd be getting my parents A Transformerbook. Link They use Skype and a couple streaming services a lot. Other than that, they use their PC for mostly email, documents and general internets. They also travel quite a bit and my mom has a trip planned to Wales to see my sister early next year, so The transformerbook would fit nicely. It's light enough to function as a tablet, but has the keyboard for typing. They're already used to Windows 10, too. If not eligible, get the next best thing. Windows, portable, easy to use (or to teach to use). I was thinking a new modem + NAS, but seeing as I'd have to troubleshoot everything and drive 2 hours to them if they needed help with either, I thought otherwise. Plus, I'm not that good with networking. Good luck everyone, happy holidays and such to you and your families. May the winner be praised among their family and become the "tech-savvy-one-who-will-resolve-all-our-problems-anywhere-anytime-person" PS: An awesome giveaway, guys! It's original and engages the community (as usual for your stuff). Only gripe is that you don't help at all with our choices. Or at least you don't say you will.
  4. Love the look of that headset! That mousepad looks great, too!
  5. So Friday morning I received a package from EK...
  6. The beer ahs mostly dried out already and I'm draining the rest out. I'd just like to get all the gunk that remains out of there.
  7. So I was hosting a barbeque night for a few friends, and one of those friends happened to spill some beer on my K70 and ruined my Razer Goliath mouse mat. I suspect a short or something under the arrow keys since when I arrived at the scene there was a menu open and the cursor was going wild up/down. U unplugged the keyboard and then proceded toremove all the keycaps. So far I've removed all the screws on the top panel, but I guess I'm missing some (found the one under the logo). This is as far as I can go for now. I'm lost. What should I do to get that gunk out of my keyboard? Rinse it and put a fan to it for 24+ hours to dry it off? If I can take it apart anymore without voiding the warranty, that'd be great. Though I'm not sure if the warranty covers this. Help? D: If there's nothing I can do, I can always make him pay for a new one, but I'd not like to resort to that.
  8. I've always used Nordic 105-key layouts, but I'm now looking at 60% keyboards, so going to LAN events would be a little bit easier.
  9. I'm torn between this one. The case hold so much emotional value to him I wouldn't want to take it away from him, but I don't think the parts inside are as big of a thing. If I were him, I'd just put the case on display if he wants to upgrade to something else and give away the parts inside, if he really wants to give it away. So mostly no, but a bit of yes. It looks awesome.
  10. Thanks for the vessel premium, Linus! I'm missing the doubleclick to go fullscreen and exit fullscreen from youtube, but I like Vessel so far. It's going to take some getting used to, but I'll move away from Youtube, if I have the option. 11. I keep some stuff just for backup, but I sell online or locally what I don't have any use for.
  12. Yeah it should support all logitech mice. The profile switcher is built into the software.
  13. You sure can. You can rebind any of your mouse buttons with the logitech gaming software. Also you can bind a hotkey for profile switching. Not a logitech fanboy or anything, but I like my G500s for it's functionality. Could have a a better form, but that's getting fixed with the Naos QG.
