  1. Hey people, basic question.. Been looking around for a decent monitor for awhile and I think I have settled on this one https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-079-AC&groupid=17&catid=1851 Was wandering if anyone had any better choices? G-sync is required as well as around or above 120hz Quite happy with a 1080p 24" but can be pushed otherwise. Location: UK Price range: Max £400 Cheers!
  2. Warframe? Not quite an MMO but has similar style and is a lot more fast paced
  3. This man has a 4790k and SLI Titan X's, not sure like but think he'll be alright.
  4. Is it worth the push from a single 780ti to a 980ti then? Might just wait for the next iteration of the ti but soo damn tempted haha
  5. If you are looking for closer to milsim then meeting up with random people and playing scenarios come and check out http://www.gol-clan.co.uk. Good atmosphere, 3 official missions a week, proper training within squad level etc. Actual commitment and time needed so only apply if you are truly interested =] Cheers, Raptor
  6. Hi, The standard for the 780 ti seems to be holding fairly steady at around £550.. I'm still looking to be buying another of these to run in SLI but that will come a bit further down the line. The question for this post is: Why is this <£400? http://www.amazon.co.uk/PNY-GeForce-780Ti-XLR8-Performances/dp/B00LHIPLK8/ref=sr_1_6?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1424259069&sr=1-6&keywords=780+ti#productDetails Whereas this is about ~£150 more expensive? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-NVIDIA-780Ti-Graphics-Card/dp/B00HGB8SLY/ref=sr_1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1424259069&sr=1-4&keywords=780+ti What is the main differences between the cards and does it warrant the price difference? Many thanks, Andy
  7. Yeah I fully get where you are coming from. I am looking to move up to a 1440p 120/144hz at some stage once the prices become a little more manageable! It would be nice to having matching cards but I also don't quite like the sounds of that card.. to get what I'm looking for I'd more then likely need to pay the premium for the more known brands. The card linked I've heard isn't a quiet runner and with the rest of my case being silent I wouldn't like this to be the deciding factor that started making noise ============== Any good websites for buying a new 780ti? Especially the EVGA? Also.. any clue roughly how long it would be for the next gen up from the 980? The 1080?? lol Thanks for the feedback people
  8. Hi, I've been looking to get either another 780ti to run in sli or hold off for the next generation after the 900s and just get 2 of those reference cards. 780ti - One main issue I've been having is it seems to be overly expensive to buy them and the options nowadays seem to be far more limited on brands. Currently running a stock EVGA 780ti. I am not having too many issues with the single card currently but would just like a little more of a boost sometime in the future. Basically wanting to see what people views are, if its worth a straight upgrade or wait for the next set. Location: UK Specs: See sig. Cheers, Andy
  9. Do you notice the difference the extra V-ram is giving you with the 2 cards? (Clearly not in MC)
  10. I could try it later on as my build is basically yours missing an extra graphics card. Side note: Whats your voltages for stable 4.5Ghz? Mine starts to cry at around 4.4
  11. I'm running FC4 on around 90-100 fps and it the stutter isn't good.. its the game not your PC, however if it's happening on other games drivers are the first thing I'd check!
  12. That clip was on Takistan but other maps have similar performance. Yeah it's GOL.. Feel free to come and have a chat with us whenever (http://www.gol-clan.co.uk/), but I don't deal with server side or mission making.
  13. The mod list we use is far to large to even think about putting in here and it is not easily check-able although overall it comes to 16.51GB.. On that mission we had between 30-35 players, with unknown numbers of AI.
  14. I don't even have an overclocked Ti, Standard EVGA. Below clip is on the old headless Some servers are just straight out bad.. --- Everyone got their launch options set correctly and files not in slow assss drives? Here is a small clip with a fair bit happening, recording with steady above 60fps.. (was around 70-80). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIppkVFqmQk Roughly 16GB of added mods, mid mission with a large enemy force on the position we are bombarding.
  15. Everyone complains that is it.. but to be fair it is a complicated as hell game and there is a tonne to render. Overall I get decent frames, steady over 60 unless in a heavily taxing engagement or server. On vanilla A3 there is never any issues regarding frames although to be fair my rig is upper tier and running off a PCI-E SSD..
  16. 600 hours on ARMA 3, can confirm it is not a POS
  17. Thanks for the feedback man, the G27 ended up going on a mad sale over the Black Friday weekend soo... bought it
  18. Sure, I just started playing it and I'm not too far through.. feel free to add me on steam or Uplay - andy_m_ What timezone are you?
  19. Managed to pick this up on PC world in the Cyber Monday closing sale for £150.. Soo happy
  20. Thanks for the reply, the G27 was my planned wheel if I end up enjoying racing with a wheel.. Any lower-end good ones you know of?
  21. Hi, Looking to get a decent but not too expensive racing wheel plus pedals basically to find out how much I actually enjoy using one. If I end up being really into it I can easily upgrade at a later date I own many different racing games & sims for the pc but a controller just doesn't really cut it and a wheel is needed. Anything around £100 and I am located within the UK. Any help would be greatful! Cheers, Andy
  22. Sorry what? Most people don't try things until they hear if from multiple sources.. I'm not sure of you question.
