Looking for a wireless replacement for my M50x. I've noticed the Steelseries 840 but I'm weary of sound quality.

How are bt headphones for latency? These headphones would mainly be used on my desktop where I game a lot so latency would be important (Steelseries use some proprietary thing which may/may not be good).

Anyone got any recommendations for a m50x replacement (so similar sound sig) but wireless and low latency?

I'm in the UK and ideally working with a budget around £200, but can go up to £250. Suggestions around £300 are fine since I may be able to get them on sale.

SMS mainly. Some Whatsapp (never paid for it - and to clarify, I haven't done anything illegal or w/e, the app's just never prompted me for money). I would probably use FB messenger since almost everyone's on FB but I don't use it so that's not an option for me.

Yeah APC is a slightly higher quality from what I've heard from others who have had some issues with the Cyberpower ones, I've used APC ones myself for a long while now and they still work great.

You should be good since at full load your system should draw a max of ~375W but if your also plugging in a lot of other devices like networking equipment and peripherals it might be a good choice to go one step up to something a little bit larger.

So just to clarify, you'd recommend I'd get the APC between the 2 I suggested?

What are you trying to power and do you have an approx power draw or system specs to determine what size of battery backup you need. I would recommend an APC unit the one you have selected is good for 700VA or 405W the duration of most UPS's though at full load is only a few minutes.

Not sure if I've done it right but its recommendations are several hundred pounds. Is this realistically what I should be looking at and the ones I suggested are just no good?

Been dealing with a lot of power cuts recently (caused by incompetent people, not weather) and getting fed up with it both disrupting work and possibly damaging my computer so I've started looking into backup power supplies.

So here are my questions for the more knowledgeable:

• Are these good value in general for individuals/personal machines?
• What is the sort of "standard" duration I should expect?
• What sort of price range should I expect?
• Any good brands/names to look for specifically?
• Form factor? I'd ideally like smaller but I recognise this will decrease its capacity.

They're a thing at certain stores. Quite big too. When I was considering buying a MBP I could get a higher speced machine for less money than the Dell XPS.

Was looking at this and the specs are actually pretty decent for the (Kickstarter) price.

I bet it would take 2x less time for someone to turn off something as simple as sticky keys in Windows 7 than Windows 8.1.

The rgb version has an optical sensor?... I can confirm my non-rgb model is laser.

I am looking for a new laptop and cannot decide between the MacBook Pro 13" 2015, the Acer aspire v15 nitro black edition or the Asus rog G501.

All of them have their own strong points: MacBook-battery, Acer-affordability and Asus-battery and affordability

I was hoping someone would help me decide and would also like to ask what the battery life of the Acer is if you have one.

Probably the Asus but I have no idea what your pricing is.

It's your preference. Really need to test them out to tell which you prefer.
