Yeah, you can also buy the panels separately, so you could have windows on both sides. One small, one large, both large, both small, none, you can expand the top for rads, etc etc.
The case has so many options.

Oh we're here. Just contemplating a coordinated troll of ps4 and xbone forums, spamming $400 and $500 dollar builds that make both look like calculators.

You can make a very small stylish build with short gpus like the upcoming r9 285 from sapphire, but this limits your choices down the road.
You hardly can add something to a mATX case, at most a network/raid.
You should find the right case first, one that really caughts your eyes, difference is minor between these form factors.
Browse Lian Li and Silverstone websites, you will find the small form factor goodness there.

You will find a lot of us own consoles too, some of even like Apple! SHOCK HORROR
