  1. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00ZCBEARQ/?tag=pcp0f-21 this should be a good option, same performance as the 270 and it's cheaper than a 270.
  2. most likely my p5q deluxe as (at the time) it was a bitch to find a good deal let alone the mobo it self

  5. if you don't mind a bit of orange the ltt edition noctuas sound like a viable option. corsair sp120/sp140 are pretty good (i have 2 on my hyper 212 and they work great ) swapable color rings on the SPs are pretty good as well,
  6. good thing that i'm upgrading at Christmas (or sooner)
  7. lga 771 xeons can be found dirt cheap for example: a x5450 here in the uk costs around about 20-30 gbp whereas the 775 eqivalent (q9650) is upwards of 50 pounds. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/INTEL-XEON-X5450-QUAD-CORE-PROCESSOR-3-00GHZ-12M-1333-SLBBE-SOCKET-LGA771-/121787453669?hash=item1c5b1910e5:g:bdEAAOSw14xWHkdq also the x5640 is lga 1366 afaik not 771
  8. said tutorial can be found herehttp://linustechtips.com/main/topic/365998-mod-lga771-to-lga775-cpu-modification/:
  9. just a slight query as i was having a look around on eBay at some used i7 950s they seem to be pretty good value but 1366 boards are a) stupidly overpriced and b) hard to come by. and i also think it would be a decent upgrade for my current system.
  10. yeah, ever since it got mothballed the whole redcar/Southbank area has been pretty rough (well isn't that a change). Afaik the toris have not done anything. down the gare (basically the beach other side of the actual plant) is where my fam usually walks our dogs as there is so much room for activities, it's always mega eerie and quiet, pretty spooky tbh,
  11. Title says it all, http://www.theguardian.com/business/2015/oct/27/life-after-steel-redcar-future-consett

  15. over than the xeon mod, a q6600 is your best bet, make sure the stepping is G0 if it is it'll say SLACR on the cpu itself, these are much better overclockers than the older B3 (SL9UM)

  17. Worst part about it is that kids a few years below me (year 7s) are just going round spouting it everywhere.
  18. where the heck did it even originate?
  19. Oh sorry, "malarkay" just slang for something that does not make sense, where i am from.
