Whatever you do dont start with C. It will kill your interset in learning to code.

My recommendation would be to start learning about basics of computer science (with python): specificaly https://www.udacity.com/course/cs101

EDIT: Also, Python has a huge amount of awesome open source libraries for you to use, and an active development community.

Udacity has a couple of good programs, most are free for you to learn. (the paid version gives you some harsher tests and a private tutor that keeps you from slacking)

After that try and do your own project or even better try to find some firm that will take you on for free,or minimum wage (show you are eager to learn)  for a couple of months. You will learn 10x of what you would at home at your own pace, plus you will meet cool people.

    Good luck.

From memory that keyboard uses blue switches from memory. The thing that makes the blues tactile is below the activation point on the switch and it could be getting stuck on that causing it to register a continual key press.
If you can get the switch out with out damaging it or breaking it look at it to see what the problem may be. Or you could replace the switch as they are only $2-3 per switch.

I'd rather invest in gold which I know will always be the standard for trade and not on a bubble waiting to pop. (Anyone remember AIG?)

That's pretty bad considering here (Australia) you'll get charged $700+ for a grey import, add probably another $100 if you buy Australian stock. Someone is making a small killing. But if people are willing to buy them then that's just how it's going to be.

It's definitely insane how quickly 4k is taking off and becoming feasible. In a few years it may be the norm and we may be looking forward to even higher resolutions. I'm already making reservations to auction my body for money. (no, I don't mean prostitution. )

The future of 4K gaming is bright. A recent article over on pc per http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Frame-Rating-High-End-GPUs-Benchmarked-4K-Resolutions has had Ryan looking at the feasibility of 4K gaming.

In the article he goes over things such as how the current generation of cards stack for 4K on both the red and the green team. It shows that the current generation of cards are capable of not only being able to push 4K resolution but also doing so at some very playable frame rates.

The Titan stacks up well for 4K gaming as is to be expected with the 6GB frame buffer and the GK110 chip. But what is even more surprising is that the 2GB GTX 680 has borderline playable frame rates with a noticeable improvement when the 4GB version is used. The 7970 is still the clear front runner when it comes to 4K gaming for single GPU under $1000 averaging 2-3 fps in almost all situations which when you end up down at around the 20 fps mark could make all the difference.

There are graphs in this article that show just how well of a job AMD has done currently of tackling the frame time issue that exists with Crossfire configurations. http://www.pcper.com/image/view/23662?return=node%2F57125. The article says that the driver wont be ready until June/July but with the current progress that AMD have made I have no doubt that they will have made I have no doubt that it will be much better when they release it to the public. Will it be as good as the what nvidia has to do with frame times? No because they have hardware on the cards to help to smooth it out but will it be close. I would bet on it.

All in all the future of 4K gaming looks bright, maybe not in the next generation of graphics cards but most likely in the one after we will have 60 or even greater FPS. The only place that the performance can go is up from here. With the price of 4K televisions and monitors ever decreasing in price, it make 4K not a niche gaming platform but almost at certain gaming platform.

People are not gonna move towards macs anytime soon because they are not only expensive they are different from what people are used to and when it comes to computers it is only enthusiastic that are gonna be the people that are willing to try new and interesting things and there are not enough of us out there to influence the market in the way that we would like and have things that are useful and beneficial developed that what the normal consumer wants which is what happens and is not always the best thing.

If everyone went out and bought a macbook that has a retina display tomorrow because of the retina display then we would see the market shift quite rapidly to accommodation the need high res high density displays. The problem is thought that this is not going to happen which is why the manufactures are sitting on there laurels.
