  1. What sort of thermal setup are you running, is the case well ventilated? Have you verified whether v-sync is disabled?
  2. No 3.7 is base, 4.3ghz is all-core turbo and 4.7 is single-core turbo
  3. Hm, on second glance it's 4.3 all-core so technically not an OC. I thought it was lower. But that still means the VRM isn't able to handle the power draw. CPU clockspeeds should never dip to idle during a fullscreen application. Atleast not when running a demanding application.
  4. I'd start with turning off "Multicore enhancement". I can see it dipping to 1200mhz occasionally, which should never happen during gameplay. Meaning it's thermal throttling at the VRM's. WHich isn't weird considering you're boosting a 12 thread CPU to 4.3ghz all-core boost on a very, very meager VRM. Even if they use decent components, that's either a 3+3 or a 4+2 setup. Nothing you really want to run an OC 8700K on.
  5. That is the file... send the .hml in an attachment here.
  6. What do you mean you couldn't get the file. Everyone that i've ever asked was able to produce it.
  7. Yes follow it carefully please. Every dataPID is important.
  8. Look at my guide please, and specifically look at the parameters listed. I can guess at what's wrong, but it's easier to just look at some data and save all the guess work.
  9. You sure you weren't monitoring your iGPU? Also check my signature.
  10. Just mount it elsewhere, instead of on the head.
  11. And you're trying to avoid a buck converter, why?
  12. It's probably that quadcore CPU running with lowspeed memory.
  13. Nah I read the final bit of your post, i'm not going to read that wall of autism "moral of the story: dont play ass effect andromeda"
  14. LOL you blame a video game for a shitty PSU. The absolute mental gymnastics.
  15. Before you buy anything. Try this: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/792666-pascal-gpu-boost-30-topic-something-every-pascal-owner-should-look-at/
  16. Oh so because you dont like the results, they're paid reviews. You do know that Hardware Unboxed was not given a review sample by Nvidia because they talked shit about DLSS, and they had to buy their own AIB card. Yeah, i'm sure HUB was all about putting this 2060 in the best light possible. Stop your bullshit.
  17. 2070 is shit value by the way, even for an RTX card. 2060, though expensive for a midrange ranked GPU, has better value. It's I think only 10-11% behind the 2070 but at significantly lower cost.
  18. Nah mate it's too much fliler text. And for that money you can just buy a Zowie EC1-A. It has the same shape, but better sensor.
  19. Did you enable Freesync in the monitor OSD? Also there is no such thing as a 1.2 DP cable. There are just Displayport cables.
  20. They are really trying to sell people the idea that a bunch of useless tensor cores are totally worth forking over the cash.
  21. That's some super slow memory, get 3200 CL16 atleast, that's pretty much the cut-off point in terms of value. CL14 gets too expensive. And buying an entirely new platform for 2 extra cores doesn't seem worth it. I'd just go with Ryzen+ (2600X/2700X). Games like Far Cry 5 don't even run that great on these i5's. It stutters.
