  1. Yeah, nope. Every individual that works at/for that company represents the company in it's entirety. That's how it works. A company that has a less than stellar reputation for customer service due to crap policy and a crap employee pool doesn't have to look too hard to see where the issues lie. When you order from McDonald's and they screw up your order, you don't think that Fred back in the kitchen made a mistake, or Linda at the counter must have heard you wrong. McDonald's screwed up your order. If a company hires people that don't represent the qualities they desire: Shame on them. That's half the problem. The other half is people not taking responsibility for their actions and not taking pride in what they do and who they work for.... It's this mentality that contributes to how garbage society has really become. Sorry for the Rant.
  2. Ok, I giggled a bit reading this. 'Gubmt' taking all my money anyways, might as well get some internet speed out of it.
  3. 18+k bitcoin gone sure stinks. It's not Mt. Gox bad, so there's that, but crappy none the less. From what I read they are making good on the stolen coins, which is certainly different from the Gox...
  4. I have been looking at these, and I believe you'd need their rig to transmit video. I have a hero3 black and the WiFi range is terrible. I believe dji sells some kind of interface kit?
  5. Eh, you get more features in the base BRZ, everything else is pretty much the same. The suspension differences are literally slightly stiffer springs in the rear and softer up front for the FRS. That's it. TCS is the same system. I bought the BRZ because I liked the looks more than the FRS (bumpers specifically), interior is nicer IMO- not a fan of all the red beyond the stitching, material is nicer IMO, headlights aren't an upgrade (HID vs halogens), fogs standard, etc.
  6. Go drive one, then report back Any car with decent handling that you can wring out is so much fun. Granted you'll get passed by everything, but you'll have a blast doing it. (Srsly, the BRZ is the same way. It's the slowest thing I've owned in my adult life, and still just as much fun as some of the fastest things I've had)
  7. Totally Manufacturer dependent. Porsche finally is getting it right, BMW nailed it, and TBH, The steering in my BRZ is excellent. Agility has nothing to do with electric steering. Feedback is the dominant complaint, and with electric steering getting better and better, it's becoming less of a concern. I hated it in everything I drove, minus the above. "commuter car" electric steering is no different that hydraulic steering: it's numb in either case.
  8. All Mazdaspeed 6s are/were AWD. It's a goofy setup, and very very front biased most of the time. Just FYI. Same 2.3l as in the Speed 3 and every boosted 4cyl currently (Same engine family)
  9. Good to know re: Paint. I thought that was quite odd. Best part about new cars: Flash and go: EZ upgrades.
  10. It's literally the same car w/diff body panels. Also a bit of a PITA to work on, engine wise. Personally, I like the Mitsu looks better than the Stealth also. Heavy ass cars too.
  11. Agreed, but most likely not an integra/SI. Also, this is why I said "Most"
  12. Well, that thing raises a few questions after a brief glance. 1. is the lovely BOV venting to atmosphere? Cause from the looks of it, its shouldn't. (I don't know that car too well, but it's def. a Mass Air setup. Ergo: VTA no good) 2. Why is the engine bay a diff color than the car? Repaint? Accident? Sup? 3. Why would imbalanced wheels cause a car to shake at high RPM rather than high speed? Either Poster doesn't know WTF they are talking about or made a mistake. Do your homework when buying a used car. Always.
  13. Call your ins co and see what they say about all those cars, assuming they will insure you in the first place (unless you are on your parents ins). the Evo is literally in it's own league when it comes to insurance rates. We put my girl in an Evo X last year and her rates are insane. Mind you she had 1 ticket that was a couple years old. When that came off the rates didn't drop all that much, good thing the payment was stupid cheap on the Evo. Edit: Lol at the full coverage rates OP just posted. For $8k, most all of those cars would be piles of crap (Protege notwithstanding). Modded/hacked to hell and back. Buy something that doesn't break all the time, is reasonable comfortable and is sporty enough for you. You can get into trouble in anything.
