I attend a flight school in NW Ohio, currently working on my instrument cert. When we have prospective students we take them up for a discovery flight which is free, but there is no official training. It looks like your nearby field has a training facility, should definitely give them a call and find out the price.

This is really annoying for someone on Project Fi. Hangouts works pretty great with integrating my SMS across devices. They have said they won't kill off the consumer version of Hangouts but they also aren't communicating what this means for Project Fi. It seems like different departments at Google are using each other's products to build their product's on but really hate talking to each other. Hopefully they figure this out and don't kill off Project Fi too.

I've bought a few Asus products over the years, desktop components, peripherals, and laptops. I've had a few products from them that seemed to not be the best design. Common things seem to be cheaper materials, even on a few of the higher end products like ROG laptops, and some mediocre software on some products. Only product failures I've had are an Asus router and the hard drive of an Asus laptop. The router was rather cheap so I didn't bother replacing it, but the laptop was through Amazon so they replaced it with a new one within a week. Asus has a couple common issues, but for the price I will definitely keep using them for most computer components. As for their service, I just always try to go through Amazon because I feel like I can trust them with product issues, and product failures will happen, QC can't catch everything.

Games that were good but you never want to play again?
T271 replied to Virtual01's topic in General Discussion
Fallout 3. I absolutely loved the game but there are so many damn bugs. Getting to a part where I could not continue because of the game crashing became extremely frustrating, now just hoping that Fallout 4 won't have the same problems. -
When I had my first PC I never really thought about how it worked, but assumed it was something like a car engine. Thought that it pulled air in, did something mechanical with it, and blew exhaust out the other end. This was when we had the first computer in my house though, so when I was about seven.

Case has to be my favorite part of this, that thing is a beauty.

I don't remember how I found LTT a year or two ago but it's come a long ways. Personally my favorite videos are probably coverage of events like computex, makes me want to fly out to computex and do the same thing!- 22,217 replies

So last week virgin mobile updated the HTC desire 601 model to HTC sense version 5.5. Ever since then I've noticed a massive battery drain from android system, as high as 85%. Unplugged my phone about thirty minutes ago and it's already at 85% without being used. Anyone have experience with this problem?

Most of the PCs at my school are Dell OptiPlex 745s, school got them with XP and now they are running 7. All have 2 gigs of ram and integrated graphics, they freeze up all the time.

I didn't know this exists, thank you for giving me a good laugh lol

One particular instance, after my last PC got lightning'd, I got back from vacation and slapped in some new parts. I noticed my internet was being buggy, so called the ISP and they kept insisting the modem was fine and it was my PC that was busted. I ended up going to the store and buying a modem myself, and believe it or not it was what was broken.

No, I have set everything back to default settings in the bios and it is still overheating.

I reapplied paste but it's still doing the same thing. The coolant is heating up, but the air coming out of the radiator is cool. Even though it is a pre-built loop, is it possible that it could be clogging up between the pump and radiator?

I've been running a Corsair H100i on my system for a few months, and it has been working fine. I am using an intel 4670k @4.4Ghz@1.3V. Yesterday I started having problems with overheating. On idle the cpu is getting to about 40C and the coolant is getting to about 35C. If I try doing anything that stresses it, it will overheat and blue screen. The heat is being transferred from the CPU to the waterblock fine, according to Asus ai suite 3 the pump is still running at 2300-2400 RPM, and the fans are running full speed. Anyone know what the problem might be?

http://gizoogle.net/ Look up any website with this, and it translates it to ghetto speak. Browsing the forums has been much more interesting since I found out about this :D
