  1. My Twitter: https://twitter.com/AdamTheNurd I am still using an i7 920! This would give me reason to upgrade! I am also on an income of zero, being a student an all.
  2. I would love to have one of these phones. I have always wanted to own a HTC phone. My Twitter: https://twitter.com/AdamTheNurd
  3. I have never in my life encountered such an issue. Could you further specify the parameters of the issue? Perhaps you could take a photo and post it, so that the problem can be further diagnosed? The cage may not be worth saving, but it may be possible.
  4. Such hardware will be more than capable of powering the workload you specified.
  5. Assuming you have sufficient hardware that these peripherals can only supplement, the mouse can be the most noticeable improvement in performance, comfort, and enjoyment of gaming when compared to that of the keyboard. Of course, it all depends on the application. Are you mainly a twitch/FPS player or are you a RTS/MMO player?
  6. It is impossible to describe the experiences of the various Cherry MX switches through any other medium but physical sensation. Thus, I cannot give you any other advice besides to get your hands on one. If the option to test a mechanical keyboard is absolutely impossible, I can provide you with some information. Any mechanical keyboard from Corsair uses the Cherry MX Red switch, hailed for its efficiency and comfort in respect to gaming. The Cherry MX Blue switch is my preferred switch, an opinion that I am sure is shared by many, and a mediator between the applications of gaming and typing; whereas, the Cherry MX Red switch in my opinion is not as comfortable when compared to the Cherry MX Blue switch. However, the difference is minuscule and would not be noticeable to the average user. The Cherry MX Black switch is analogous to the Cherry MX Blue switch minus the practicality for gaming. Cherry MX Red is mainly for gaming. Cherry MX Black is mainly for typing. Cherry MX Blue is a hybrid of the two.

    Need some earbuds

I second the SteelSeries FLUX in-ear series. Quality drivers.
  8. Very clean and minimalistic. Nice keyboard. Nice motherboard. Practical CPU and GPU. DIY cooling. Decent displays. Overall better than the average build.

    HDMI Help

Incorrect. See this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Refresh_rate Incorrect. The use of Hz in imaging is analogous to the refresh rate of displays; hence, a display with a refresh rate of 2 Hz produces 2 frames every second.

    HDMI Help

HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.4a are capable of streaming 1080p content at the rate of 60Hz or 60fps; whereas, HDMI 1.4b is capable of streaming 1080p content at the rate of 120Hz or 120fps.
  11. I will second this post. If you wish to build the water-loop yourself and have control over every component that goes into your system, I recommend you consider products from AlphaCool or XSPC. Otherwise, I recommend products from Swiftech or Corsair for the user seeking an all-in-one solution. Do note: The practicality of my preferences is substantiated by improvements in performance of these radiators in contrast to competing radiators from various companies. However, this improvement in performance is minuscule, relies on the reliability and quality of every component in the system, and thus does not translate into a preferable performance-per-monetary unit for the end-user. Ultimately, I second what has been stated previously in this topic by "airdeano".
  12. There exists no other "downside" of a dual-GPU solution apart from the reduction of performance due to poorer optimization of hardware and software when compared to a single-GPU solution.
  13. Comparing the two choices you game me, I prefer the 650D. The 650D is a better built product and will result in better observable-performance due to better airflow when compared to the 600T. However, I suggest the 350D or the 900D depending on your application, if these two suggested products are within your budget and Corsair seems to be your company of choice.
  14. It depends on what you are willing to pay for hardware. At the time of this post, Nvidia's Titan will provide you with a higher buffer capacity on a single GPU compared to competing cards on the market. And in my own experience, single-GPU solutions that compete with dual-GPU solutions in terms of performance tend to outweight the latter in terms of overall performance due to hardware limitations. But if you want the best observable-performance per monetary unit spent towards the enjoyment of 4K content, wait for the development and release of hardware marketed around existing 4K content.
