  1. There is a Johnny Cash song about building a car one piece at a time. Great song.
  2. I made the mistake of purchasing PowerDVD once and had a very similar issue. I avoid PDVD at all cost now. Sorry, they screwed you over too.
  3. I looked on the website as well and didn't find any firmware available. I would think it's an update for CyberLink. Get away from it as fast as possible. I think it has to do with security on the disks. I remember having to update Cyberlink years ago when I got a movie that had just come out. It's frankly a pain.
  4. I looked on the website as well and didn't find any firmware available. I would think it's an update for CyberLink. Get away from it as fast as possible. I think it has to do with security on the disks. I remember having to do that with my BR drive years ago when I got a movie that had just come out. It's frankly a pain.
  5. Are you downloading the latest driver or firmware? You mention both in your post and finish it with a driver. Try using it with VLC instead of CyberLink. I really hate that software.
  6. I approve @SlipperyPete Looks like you have put a ton of hard work into it and it is looking fine. Planning on doing any staining or painting to finish it up or leave it as is?
  7. Great job on the design. I really like the riveting. Way to go.
  8. I approve the desk upgrade. Way better than what I currently have. Need to have a decent desk to support all those monitors.
  9. That's a good looking case.
  10. I upgraded my LGA775 to Q9550 with 8gb of ram and a GTX960. However, I decided to put it in an s340 because I couldn't keep it in the Lenovo case it came in. Dang 960 wouldn't fit the case.
  11. I believe the video slot is AGP. But you may be able to use PCI. Been a while since I have been under the hood of one.
  12. You may need to do it for both. This might help if you are using tight. http://www.tightvnc.com/doc/win/TightVNC_for_Windows-Installation_and_Getting_Started.pdf
  13. You might need to approve it on the computers firewall.
  14. Hmmm. Thats a good question. What version of Win are you running? Any type of GPU either?
  15. Do you have another thread for your desk, or will it be a part of this epic mod?
  16. That's a great question. Tight VNC is free but requires some finagling with firewall settings. I think VNC has some extra features.
  17. Use a program like VNC or TightVNC. There are several other options to use as well that allow secure connections on a local network. I dont think RDP allows what you are looking for.
  18. Just make sure none of them interconnect. Its a 5 min job or less.
