LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway
Baze_Ezra replied to CPotter's topic in LTT Releases
This looks great. Would need to repaint my wall again, but would be worth it! -
This PC would make a perfect Christmas present for a family member with an almost 7 year old PC. Plenty of performance in a nice small package.

I really like the look of those headphones, probably my favorite of the bunch. The mousepad is nice too. The keyboard looks functional, which is good. Also - really nice logo.

I really depends on where you go and the quality of the water. Where I live in England, water hardness is an issue, and drinking unfiltered water causes me migraines. For that reason, I have a filter jug.

Downgrading Windows 10 to Windows 7 OEM
Baze_Ezra replied to Thedude886's topic in Operating Systems
Did you do a disk cleanup or delete the "Windows.old" folder? If yes, that's why. You can clean install Windows 7 and activate it as normal, as long as you have your license key available. For drives running high - a potential issue could be privacy settings and/or the encryption software build in to the OS. You can try tweaking settings to turn them down, or find the reddit links or such for tools to disable them. Also, if you are running Firefox and have not updated in the last few days, DO SO. There was an exploit inadvertently written into the browser which could be used to remotely access data on your hard drive. -
Check in this page: http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/ Under USB there is a "Asmedia USB3.0 Controller Driver V1.16.12.0 for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)"

How Much Cell Data Do You Use A Month?
Baze_Ezra replied to ShiftHitTheFan's topic in Phones and Tablets
My limit is 500mb and I've told my phone to turn off data after that point. I almost never go over 400mb anyway. -
Have you made sure all motherboard drivers are installed? Sometimes there's some extra driver that may help with the USB 3.0.

It can happen, but depends upon circumstance. Basically some things you can do may build an electrostatic charge, some will discharge it. Working on conductors (like computer components) will generally result in a discharge. If the charge is high enough, it can be significant and damage things / cause you pain. If you have ever touched a railing somewhere and felt a kind of spark - that is ESD.

Finding Operating Voltage of RAM on a Macbook Pro
Baze_Ezra replied to xConVirus's topic in Troubleshooting
I just did a quick google search, first result links to: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4256834 The google search also gave an answer in big at the top of the page of 1.5volts (Source: https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#q=macbook%20pro%20ram%20voltage&es_th=1 ) Hope this information helps. -
For FPS monitoring, there will be practically zero performance difference from using Fraps, MSI Afterburner, Steam or any other overlay. Just make sure the recording/encoding is not set to a hotkey you are likely to use while playing games, if they activate there will most likely be a significant performance hit. One thing to note, though. Fraps can have trouble with some Direct3D applications, causing them to crash or just fail to launch. Most of them will give you a warning, though.

By my knowledge, Java is widely considered a good way to start. But it's also not got the best prospects. You'd want to move on to one of the C's, Python or something. For tutorials, there are several sites out there, as well as a number of courses. Really all you can do is look around and see what you can find. I've had a look at Linda.com (one of LTT's sponsors) and they have some stuff, though I obviously don't know how good it is.
