Fabio got a reaction from CGurrell in I think LTT makes up a majority of Vessel views...
Honestly I don’t understand the anger of some of guys. This new series is funded by Vessel and would otherwise not have happened. So I think we all should be thankful that Vessel is giving LMG the opportunity to improve upon themselves through this new challenge and we should be thankful that we are going to be able to enjoy this probably awesome new content.
So huge THANKS to LMG and Vessel for making even more great videos available.

Do you want to run your GTX 900 series video card in fanless mode but your card doesn't run that mode natively? LinusTechTips forum user Lays has you covered!

It does. I used the Kepler-Bios-Tweaker instead of the Maxwell one, but it works fine.
But you have to check the temps. My 780Ti (reference) gets too hot, with the fan off. It's temps go slowly up, till you just have to turn on the fan. And as Linus said: A Fan that goes on/off is annoying - Even if it only ramps up every 20minutes for 2-3 minutes. And your GPU will get damaged in the long term. While temps around 60°C in idle aren't that bad, constantly changing temps are.
I think open airflow cooler are much better for this "passive mode", since they have usually around twice as much surface area and get some airflow from other fans in the system. So if your 780Ti isn't a reference one, it's might worh a try.

The only way to create a custom fan profile the way you want it is to flash it to a custom bios and set it there. Since you do not have a dual bios, you are going to be forced to overwrite the current one. Before you do that, make sure to save your current bios before overwriting anything.

Luke's video card date is late, Linus has to keep an extra appointment to keep from disappointing a fan, and with the shopping complete, the trash talk can begin!
