  1. Well, the BIOS won't show any drivers or Integrated video information. The drivers in Windows are what make the difference here. Do you have a graphics card on hand that can be put in the system for testing?
  2. make sure to use the quote button so we can see your responses. Can you share a screenshot of device manager, to see if the integrated graphics are shown there?
  3. did you try an older driver version?
  4. I am having a hard time understanding, because you said sleep mode is not enabled, but you are describing exactly how sleep mode works
  5. A ryzen 5 3600 would be faster than a 1700 still doesn't have VRM heat sink so I would recommend putting a Ryzen 7 in this board
  6. good price for this ultra powerful setup, definitely solid overall
  7. windowed fullscreen is functionally the same as windowed mode. I can't imagine how it would have different behavior with that, leading me to think it's the actual size or the position of the window that's the issue. Does the problem persist in fullscreen at any different resolution?
  8. The only thing that makes any difference is if the motherboard has one retention clip or two Looks like this board has two clips, so you will fold open the top and bottom of the ram slot, and push the ram in, and then once they both click closed, you're done. Don't forget, ram has a notch in it near the middle, so it can only be inserted one way. It's there to make sure you can't possibly get it backwards. If you watch a YouTube tutorial of someone adding ram to a motherboard, you'll see just how easy it is. No software or anything needed.
  9. not a bad price at all. If it doesn't include a CPU cooler from the used market, you can easily get one for cheap. The wraith prism is a good pick if you want the added style.
  10. I have used this motherboard for a few builds and it is not bad at all. For CPU, what does the used market look like by you? A Ryzen 5 3600 should be a good pairing for this
  11. PCIe 3.0 won't really hurt the performance of the 4070, it wouldn't be a big problem if you opted to get that card. What specific power supply do you have? That is probably more important that the motherboard
  12. Motherboard defaults have come a long way. You ought to have XMP already enabled, and on the higher end boards, precision boost should also already be on
  13. These have the same shortcomings, neither have a VRM heat sink. Is there something like an Asus prime or MSI gaming plus available? ASRock boards are also good in this price range, like the B450M/AC
