Looks to me like they're going to announce a new Android tablet. I hope it has even more streaming options to follow up to the Shield tablet. Maybe there's a possibility of increased Nvidia GRID integration? Source: http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/02/10/nvidia-sends-press-invitations-to-march-3rd-event-teasing-a-gaming-product-5-years-in-the-making/ Source 2: http://www.nvidia.com/content/M2G/made-to-game.html EDIT: Today's the day, folks! I will edit this original post once the event begins at 10 pm EST tonight. EDIT 2: The NVIDIA SHIELD, an Android TV set-top box has been announced! Running the new Tegra X1 Mobile Superchip! EDIT 3: Price set at $199, will come with Shield game controller and will be available in May. EDIT 4: The SHIELD will come with GRID game-streaming service. 1080p, 60fps. CONCLUSION:

The problem is that the phone itself, the Moto X, will cost $300 but I need to pay off my tab which is around $100. I'm getting all these suggestions for a Nexus 5 and all but it will cost the same. Also, it should be noted that prices in Canada are hella inflated so things aren't as cheap as you think they are.

I have friends who have the Moto G and they say it's fine, but I still don't think it's a good idea. This is a good explanation behind my reasoning and it sheds some light on flagship vs. non-flagship phones.
-
I've had enough trouble with mid/low-tier phones and I don't want anything less than a flagship. The same goes for the graphics card. So for me, it's either one great phone or one great graphics card, not a subpar one of each. Other specs: ASUS Z87-k mobo i7 4770k @ 4.3GHz 8GB 2400MHz RAM 2 TB hard drive Cooler Master 525W PSU two 1080p monitors, 60Hz
-
The problem is I CAN'T use my phone much because it's so shit and I CAN'T game much because my performance is shit
-
If you were in my position, disregarding my specific usages, which would you get? The phone and graphics card would be around the same price (Moto X vs. GTX 970, $400) Conditions: - Current GPU: GTX 550 Ti - Current phone: Nokia Lumia 710 (Windows Phone 7.8)

Either Monster really was swindled out of the Apple deal or they're just upset they couldn't cash in on some of that $$$ Guess we'll have to wait and find out. Source: http://www.theverge.com/2015/1/6/7505639/monster-suing-beats-and-co-founders-dr-dre-and-jimmy-iovine

I've looked into this monitor before but the biggest turn-off is the glossy screen. I absolutely can't have a glossy screen because my work area can get pretty bright and the glare would be unbearable. Sucks though, it seems like a pretty good monitor.
-
It's almost twice my budget coming in at around $380 here Man how I envy american pricing...
-
You'll only see a benefit from 144Hz if you constantly pull 144 fps or more. I'd say it's not worth it for you unless you know you're going to upgrade your graphics card soon.
-
It's going to be part of a multiple monitor setup. It's replacing one of my monitors right now and a couple months down the line, I'll pick up a second one to replace the second monitor I have.

Hmmm... the specs look ok but I can't find any solid reviews of it online and the bezels aren't as thin as the ASUS one.
