Mini Receiver?

The people who lived in my sisters house before them installed an audio system in her basement, and left with everything besides the speakers and I'm looking for something very cheap to use as a receiver that has an aux input.

 

I've been using a 15 year old boombox but that doesn't allow for aux inputs.

 

Is there anything that's like 20 bucks or less I can give to her? We pretty much only use it for music while were playing pool, she doesn't use it for her tv. (though would be nice if I could also have it switch to that)

Would it be cheaper to buy a terminal and create my own? Since I only need it for music from my phone?
