Asus PG279Q ROG Swift On an R9 390 8gb iz it compatible?

Ezlann

Hey guys , this is my first post ( litraly signed up 10mins ago) :P

My question is 2 Fold

Here's the back story first

Im looking at a new monitor Asus PG279Q ROG Swift  but currently running an XFX R9390 8gb

in a few months il but building an entire new rig X99/i7 with TitanX blahh blahh blahh for Video editing

as im a photographer/videographer i want the horse power ( Current rig is FX8350 @4.5GHz 32gb DDR3 1666 And for mentioned R9390)

im using Adobe CC

my games range from Warthunder/ World of tanks to Elite:Dangerous,Arma3 &,skyrim/fallout4

Right now my Question is

1. Should i buy the Asus PG279Q ROG Swift and Theoretically " Future proof myself for my upcoming build "

2. will my GPU Run on the Asus PG279Q ROG Swift untill my new Rig is built will i still get over 60fps on my AMD Card

thanks In advance for any advice Given :D

Yes, but don't expect to be able to use GSync.

Edit: Just saw that you'd be upgrading to a Titan X

1: Sure.

2: The 390 should do okay until you get that Titan, but you won't be using GSync with the AMD card.
