Help. MSI B85 G43. Fan controll works on system fan 1 and 2, but system fan 3 has the fan at full power.

Go to solution Solved by Zayzo,

So I got the MSI B85 G43 and a CM 690 III. Then I got 3 CM sickle flow fans, moving the 200mm that came with the case to the top as out accompanied with one of my sickle flows at the back. Then putt the other two in the front as intakes. This seemed all good but then I connected my sickle flow to sys 3 fan connector and powered on my computer. In the bios I was able to set both my other fans to run at 50% which gave me about ~1200rpm, but setting sys 3 to 50% left is running at ~2200rpm. So the fan mus be faulty, but connecting the fan to sys2 and sys1 gives me control and connecting any of my other fans to sys 3 gives me no control.

So, please tell me, is there something wrong with my motherboard or can I fix it?

Your motherboard doesn't support control on more than 2 fans excluding the cpu fan.

Okay thanks, is there a way I can rig the two fans to run off of one connector or is a fan hub / dedicated fan controller my only option?
