H97 vs Z97

I plan on upgrading to intel later on in the year, and I would like to know the difference in chipsets, if there even is much of one at all.

Z97 = Overclocking processors

H97 = locked processors

 

The most basic way of explaining it.  Both are Broadwell ready.
