Best GPU/s for 800$ CAD

rtpb5642
Go to solution Solved by Dzzope,

Im not buying for at least 2 weeks so i guess the Fury X is on the table now...

Just don't even consider a fury XX at the moment.. everyone that gets one (they are very hard to get hold of cos there is no stock) says they have the same or worse pump whine than the review samples.

Also, until drivers are fixed (will take months knowing AMD) it's not competing at stock clocks.. Then when you do OC, a fury will go up maybe 150Mhz if yyour lucky.. A 980Ti will hit 1400 no problem.

If theya re the same price.. Just avoid fury untill all the issues are fixxed.

800$ Canadian i want the most FPS possible, i have a 144hz 1080p monitor (3 eventually).

I was thinking 980ti or Fury X (same price where i am)

Whats does everyone think? Any other options? I'm okay with 2 cards if i get more FPS/$

980ti, it's a beast nothing else to be said. The problems with the Fury X are kinda a deal breaker for me (pump noise, coil whine) and NVidia IMO has way better drivers.

Fury X as it will be extremely powerful once better drivers are out.

980ti, the "ti" does NOT mean titan.

Hybrid is like 950 so i guess its down to the ACX 2.0 as i am a big fan of EVGA

G1 Gaming WOULD be better though, and it has a customizable LED this time instead of the prior 980 and 970 which were confined to just blue.
