Help me please... Generic Freezing!

Aitchy

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help. My computer is experiencing Generic Freezing, or system hang which it's often referred to. Everything stops working, internet stops, skype calls disconnects, music stops playing. Need to know how to fix this. Just built this PC couple days ago. Was thinking its a RAM problem, I only have one stick instead of two as I accidently bought the one stick module :(.

This is the RAM I have: http://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-FURY-1866MHz-Memory-Module/dp/B00J8E913Q/ref=sr_1_sc_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1432212178&sr=8-4-spell&keywords=8gb+hyper+x+ram+white

Definitely not a RAM fault, internet won't stop. Might be a faulty motherboard (What do you have), don't count me on that one though.

Gigabyte 970A-DS3P. Could it be to do with drivers?

Try updating the BIOS and see if that helps.

Do you by any chance have another system to test hardware on?

Well, can't you swap it out and see if it's faulty? Or is it being returned :P
