Monitor suggestions

Guest

Currently running 3x 1080p 24 inch monitors.

i want to upgrade for better image quality. but i love having loads of screen space.

did consider going 34um67 but the low pixel density sucks. 34um95 is too expensive as i will be upgrading my graphics card too.

budget i guess would be £500

edit: i would be willing to use 2 monitors temporarily

Can't you sell the monitors and add it to the budget or is that already incalculated?.

You could settle for 1440p 16:9 but that's a meh, try cheaper 21:9 displays with the 3440x1440 resolution or go for a 16:9 4k altough 4K TN is meh.

the monitors are kinda shitty and i cant really get much for them so they are already calculated.

all your options say meh xD so what would you advise if i could stretch my budget?

I'm really sold on 3440x1440 21:9, but I can suggest 2 x 27" 1440p for you. you won't have as many pixels as before but it's pretty nice.

the problem is the 34um95 is really expensive and running games on it would need some titan x or super expensive GPU.

im thinking i might get a 34um67. take advantage of the freesync and although the resolution wont be great, compared to what i am using at the moment it wont bother me too much

the 34um67 is gona be the best experience you are going to get for that money....

dont get me wrong, there is even more amazing stuff coming, but its all for rip-off prices and will be for the next two years

* id DSR/VSR the crap out of that resolution

* and dont forget to put up a manual global FPS cap of 74hz, so you never have to deal with freesync turning into vsync or tearing

How do I set a global FPS cap? Would that eliminate the need of v-sync?
