rgb k70

gnarly0531

Hey guys just got my k70 a little bit back. issue i am having since most recent update is that when i put the computer to sleep it will revert to the default red with white WASD, when i boot back up it will be in the same default. Same issue happens if i shut down the computer as well. then even when i log in it takes a solid minute or two before it loads my profile and changes to the colors i have selected.  Any ideas what is causing this. as i said before the most recent download (it had me do the software and firmware)is when it started and since it did both im not sure which caused it. thanks for any help!

well for anyone that has the same issue when you get the keyboard. the update reinstalled the default profile and at the same time the firmware update removed my custom profile from being stored on the hardware. so once i deleted the default profile and stored mine back on the hardware I was good to go.

So u found the issue :)

Its normal, whenever keyboard loses power and turns back on the first thing it does is load the profile which is saved in keyboards memory. The one Corsair made unless u rewrite it with your own.

They fixed the super long booting times so I'm super happy now :)

yeah now every thing is pretty smooth lol. only issue is have now is the win lock key on boot goes green which is not what is set on the only profile i have and it is saved to memory and also marked as default. both on and off colors are set to a purple color but every boot it goes green lol. not a deal breaker but still weird... like where is it pulling that color from. no profile exists with it, standard or advanced and my profile is stored in memory like you said  and set as default. just a software bug i guess lol
