So I just dropped my phone and when I picked it up, the power button had sunk straight into its socket. I can still use the power button (ie pressing it turns the screen on or off), but there is no longer any tactile feedback whatsoever. I am really disappointed because my case is protected by a Spigen Slim Armor case that apparently did absolutely nothing to protect it. Is there any way of unjamming the power button?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Taking it apart, using a paper clip to wiggle it free?

Aside from taking it apart, can't think of anything. I would suggest taking it apart (you would need a Torx T5, Phillips #000, metal spudger and a heat gun) but most people don't want to.

 

Try maybe tapping the phone on a surface?

You could ask them. HTC service is awful. When the motor on my One M8 broke, they never emailed me an RMA slip. I just had to wait, and after a while it fixed itself. I asked twice for one and never got it. So, just keep that in mind.
