suggestion for 10 inch class tablet with android 5.0+

i am shopping for a tablet for my mom she has a nexus 5 phone so I want suggestions for tablets that run android 5.0+ so the experience will be close. and stock android is a plus too. she likes the 10 inch class tablets. it does not have to be the fastest thing but not a slouch either. will mostly be used for games and loading pdf's and e books. and we are looking for new so we get a warranty with it. thanks for any help.

You pay for what you get. The Nexus series has a very good lineup of tablets, and gives you everything you need ad a very fair price. For something equal or better, we'll use the Galaxy Tab S for example because I'm a Samsung fanboy, you pay $20-30 more for half the storage capacity. I'd take the Nexus 9 and run like the wind, baby.

It's a little old, but the Nexus 10 is a great tablet. I've had it for a couple years now and couldn't be happier. It has also updated to Android 5.1 now.

 

Not sure if its a viable option because of the age, but thought I would throw it out there for consideration.

Well... I agree...The Nexus 10 fits the bill. I have mine and its still respectably fast. Its got a great screen and battery but the performance isn't the fastest anymore. The Nex 9 or Nvidia shield are faster options, and probably better overall.

Nexus 9 is good, but u already have a stock Android so give a try to Xperia Z4 tablet
