Intel 750 PCIe SSD video?

nbrikha

Linus said he had one coming out. Wonder how long that will take? Either way, the price point blows me away. Comparing to the Kingston HyperX Predator that came out just moments ago, it is roughly the same price per gig, double in claimed read speed (almost quadruple in random read speeds), and PCIe 3.0 vs 2.0.  The only thing Kingston has going for them is the form factor, BUT! there is only a handful of boards with M.2 2.0 x 4 boards I know of...the rest are x2 or 3.0 x 4. Is the form factor the only reason to buy Kingston over Intel? Like don't have any open slots on a mini-ITX. Is there an inherent value in the Kingston I don't see?

PC: Intel 10700K, Asus Z490-E Strix, G.Skill Trident Z @ 3200mhz C14, Thermaltake View 71, Custom Water Cooling (EKWB Quantum, 2x 360mm SR1 Radiators, 6 Noctua NF-A12), EVGA GTX1080 ti HydroCopper, Intel 6651TB, Intel 600p 480GB, Windows 10 Pro

It's just form factor. But it can definitely make a difference in some scenarios.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
