Steelseries Apex does not change color

So I bought myself the Steelseries Apex, i downloaded the drivers but the keyboard does not change color, its just the stock colors on. (Nyan, white, green, red and purple)

It says i can change the colors but I cant.

I have turned the pc on and off, in and out with the USB's too

 

Any tips?

Mess around with the software, I'm sure you didn't check a box or something similar

Nope, the software shows that its yellow colors on, its on live preview.

Hmmm weird. Sorry, I don't own that KB or any other RGB product so I don't know any other things to suggest

Are you sure you don't have the RAW version of the keyboard? The RAW is only white not RGB. If you only have one row of macros, not 3, then you have the RAW.

Found the problem...

 

It was a firmware update, little red text slighty hidden in the software. All works fine now :D

Good! How is it typing on it? Is it quiet? I really like this keyboard and don't want to go with mechanical keyboard for the simple fact of how easily the others in the house wakes up or gets annoyed with me tpying while playing a game.

It is nice to type on, but it is a very big keyboard.

It is quiet in my opinion too
