Shadow play & Dynamic Super Resolution

Will Shadow Play record in 4k or 1080p if I am using DSR on a 1080p monitor?

I wanna say 1080p as I think it hooks into the output, being that it can also record desktop, but it could go both ways.

1080p. Why do you want to record it in 4k?

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

  • 3 weeks later...

Didn't work for me. I was playing Bioshock Infinite at dsr 4k to 1080p and it recorded just audio. When I switched to compare videos....back in the game res@1080p it recorded just fine. Not sure what settings I messed up but the game ran fine....although not so great....lost ALOT of framerates but I expected that. I was just going to compare. It did look insane....very high quality but not worth the sacrifice in playability. I went from a locked 57 fps to sometimes low 15 fps but mostly 20-30 range. It wasn't the 4 gb of ram either, it was the GPU. Just can't handle 4k. GTX 770 BTW. I didn't expect it to though with that game.  Anyhow... it just didn't record at 1080p like I figured it would for some reason, anyone have a clue on why?
