so audio jack to display port? in what way does that make sense to you

3.5mm audio jack and displayport

 

makes a hdmi cable that carries audio from my pc

If I remember correctly DP carries audio like HDMi.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)
