Hello all!

 

I mentioned in the Programmers Lounge that I was working on Tom Text, a simple text editor you can see here:

(if you can't see anything, my website is down)

Anyhoo, I also said that I would release a test build once I got updating working, and as it now checks for updates, here we go!

So I want Beta Testers who can test and report issues and suggest changes for things they don't like!

This is an EXE, will it harm my PC

A:

No, this is a 7-zip sfx archive and inside are two executables all in C# .NET, if you want I will PM you the code for you to study!  :)

BTW the text in the center, to the left, right, etc. doesn't work.

Is this a text editor geared towards programmers or will it just be a general text editor for the average person without any programming specific features (syntax highlighting, auto-complete, etc)?

Its geared towards the average person but there may be some programming features in there as well
