GPU Tweak not loading profile on startup... what gives?

Zweihander

I've got GPU Tweak to load up on Windows start, which it does just fine...and minimizes itself nicely to the notification area. But it loads to default settings, instead of a previously saved profile. How do I get GPU Tweak to startup utilizing a pre-determined profile, rather than stock settings?

Make sure you have it set to load a predetermined profile on start up.

I haven't used GPU tweak but there should be an option to load your settings at startup similar to MSI afterburner.

Look around in the setting.

Am I missing something here? Can anyone who uses, or has used the program verify?

Are you, by chance, running nvidia inspector aswell?

I have it installed, but it's not running in the background.

I have it installed, but it's not running in the background.

So it's not running the multi-display saver? Check your system taskbar..

That overrules the graphics card frequencies and prevents you from overclocking. If you want them both to run, you need to make a macro that launches MSI afterburner or GPU Tweak BEFORE that pgramm becomes active.

The only reason I have Inspector installed was to see if I had Samsung memory on my GPU.

Other than that, I had/have no purpose for it. The program is not utilized, at all. Would unplugging the GPU video cables cause a revert in settings (as strange as that may sound)...?

Edit: Just tested the above theory, has no impact. Going to see if uninstalling Inspector makes any difference.

Yup, Inspector isn't even running. Just did a fresh reboot, Tweak loading default clock settings instead of my saved profile.

I'm scratching my head here fellas. Any thoughts?
