First time custom gaming PC build

Hi guys, I'm planning on building a gaming PC and I just wanted to know what affordable motherboard and cooling system would best suit the following parts I picked for overclocking and futureproofing purposes. The parts include:

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor 4.00 Ghz 8MB Cache - Socket 1150

Seasonic 80 Plus Bronze Certified - 850 Watt Power Supply

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming Edition - 4 GB GDDR5 256 bit (only one card for now)

Crucial Ballistix S XT 8GB 1866Mhz DDR3 Gaming Memory (x2)

and I also picked out this ATX case: Thermaltake V2 - Standard ATX - Gaming Chassis

And just one more thing, is an 850 Watt PSU okay for this kind of build?

850 is way overkill for your system

550 Watts is enough for most build based on the GTX970

Well, without any more info... it is kind of tough.  Here is a good starting platform in USD.  It would run the CPU stock until you felt the need to overclock.  Then you would buy an aftermarket cooler.  Also, this case is really nicely built... but it has no optical drive bay.  I picked it because it looks pretty good; it is 90% made of steel and it has been reduced in price by about 40%.  Last thing, you HAVE to like blue. :)
