Good laptop for under 400$?

Anyone know an ok laptop for under 400$? I know that it won't run graphically intense games. I'm looking for something that can run Arma 2 DayZ mod and Civ 5.... Any thoughts or ideas?

DayZ Mod decent on a Sub 400 Dollar laptop...

Your funny...

Maybe a cheap Toshiba Satellite? My old run ran DayZ mod at ~15 FPS Minimum settings, and Civ V ~30 FPS Minimum settings...

If you wait for Broadwell and Iris pro you may have a better chance...

You're not gonna get many FPS in DayZ (Or arma 2) I'de go for a Toshiba Satelite... I believe I got my (3rd i3 Gen Duel Core 2.4 GHz) for like 350...

Either a Toshiba Satelite, or something of of Ebay or Craigslist or something (Make sure to check it out compared to others)

And can I say, Arma 2 Looks really Smooth at Low Frames.

What is your main intended use for the laptop? If it's gaming you won't get much for 400 that'll do decent in those. This AMD A8 powered laptop will have more graphics power then an Intel laptop, although it is bigger and has worse battery life due to the APU being more power hungry.

If you're looking for a smaller (15") model and can sacrifice some gaming performance for better CPU performance and better battery life, take a look at something with a ULV i5 such as this

Then I'd get the Asus. HD 4400 will be adequate for both games and Minecraft can be quite CPU demanding yet single-threaded so having an Intel chip will definitely help.
