Recommend a Sound-bar?

Betabot

Hey, so as Christmas time is coming up, my dad is wanting a sound-bar and I was just wondering if anyone could give some good recommendations?

He only recently upgraded to an LCD from a box TV (Arg.. Believe me I know, I had to put up with the inputs and colour), though he's been wanting a sound-bar for a while now.

Price Range: Max $500 (AUD)

Would like a sound-bar and maybe a bass unit.

Just take into account availability as well, as I live in Australia.

Thanks

get your tv brand one so that it works with your tv's remote, having more remotes is painful.

Good suggestion, but I think it's a weird brand that wouldn't make sound-bars. Currently forgotten what brand it is ....
