Just need suggestions for my first gaming pc build. what i got together is a NZXT-h440 mid-sized case, and Asus Maximus VII Hero atx motherboard, Intel i7 4770k CPU, a GeForce GTX 780 GPU, G.Skill Trident X Series 16 GB of ram, a NZXT Kraken x60 CPU cooler, a Cooler Master V850 power supply, all running Windows 8.1. I already have a ssd so i dont need that. It totals out to somewhere around $1609.92. Of coarse im probably an idiot and made the worst choices, but I need all the constructive critisizim i can get. Thank you.

Looks good enough, but change:

780 to 970/980

4770k to 4790k

Also, you don't need those overpriced Mobo's, get something like Gaming 5/7

Also just about to say get a GTX 970 it's cheaper than the 780 and performance is better and it uses a lot less power

Good build, but i would say unless you're planning on both some upgrading and some serious overclocking that PSU is a bit overkill. scale it down a bit, maybe to a 600w?
