Mechanical keyboard issue - press J activates J & K

Hello everyone

Just now I accientially spilled some coffee onto my CM Storm Trigger around the left shift/ctrl/Z/X region .. I unplugged keyboard .. removed that section of key caps and wiped them clean ..

After that, those buttons are working completely fine, but the ASDF row seems to be messed up. For example, when I press j, both jk are registered. and when I press s, both sd are registered.

Any ideas on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

When you spill "fluids" on your keyboard, just let it dry for a day. Don't RMA it like Ssoele said, I spilled "fluids" on my keyboard twice and let it try for a day and it was fine. Sure I was mechanical keyboard deprived, but I still have my keyboard in the end.

And everytime I spilled "fluids" on it the keys activated different things and wouldn't even activate sometimes.

Thanks both for your input. The keyboard is now left aside to dry and I will see if that helps.

I wasn't able to see the CM's website on the length of warranty period for RMA .. guess thats another route i could consider if all fails.

Just to update .. problem solved after it dries for a day, except that it still smells like coffee. Thanks!
